This Ones Different

*Jack’s POV*

I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I heard a car pull into the drive way. Why would anyone be coming over to my house, i didnt invite anyone? “Jack! Jack!”. Someone was pounding on the front door “Jaaack!” Shit that’s Alex, why is he here and why does he sound like he’s being murdered? I got up and ran to the door, when I unlocked it and opened the door Alex immediately ran inside covering his face. “Whoa Alex what’s wrong?” He sat down on the couch, still covering his face. His breaths were very heavy, was he crying? I sat down next to Alex putting my arm around him. “Hey buddy, what’s wrong?” Alex threw his hands up in the air “what isn’t wrong” he seams really upset, what’s going on? “Alex what’s the matter tell me” Alex uncovered his face and looked up at me. “Its Lisa, I’m so fucking done with her!” Alex’s eyes were read and swollen with streams of tears running down his cheeks. What did she do to make him like this, He seams really upset, Alex got up off the couch and started pacing “She says she loves me, then goes and breaks my heart. She tells me I’m her whole world, then goes and treats me like shit! She says I’m the only one for her, and then I come home and walk in on her FUCKING SOMEBODY! I’m done Jack I’m so fucking done with her and the little games she plays!”

I should have known it was something to do with Lisa cheating on him, this will be the third time he has caught her sleeping around; she is always fucking around with Alex’s emotions. “So what exactly happen between you two” Alex was still pacing like a mad man. “I fucking walked in on her having sex with someone! AGAIN!” Alex yelled. Of course she did this; I stood up trying to get Alex to stop pacing. “Alex clam down everything okay” Alex stopped pacing and turned to me. “Everything is NOT okay! I’m sick of being treated like shit! I’m so done with her, this was the last straw!” Alex was crying again. “Come here” I reached my hands out offering him a hug; Alex looked down at my chest and collapsed into the hug. I rubbed the back of his head trying to comfort him. Alex looked up, “why don’t you go wash up I’ll make some tea and set up a movie, just spend the night with me, m’kay?” Alex nodded and went up stairs while I boiled water for the tea. Hmm, mint or rose? Mint, it has always been one of his favorite and he’s British for gods sake, what kind of British person doesn't like tea? After I set two cups of mint tea on the coffee table, ha that’s ironic, two cups of tea on a coffee table. Alex soon came down the stairs with is hair damp and a towel in his hands. I put in the movie “let me guess, Home Alone?” he said sitting down on the couch with a small smirk on his face “actually its Peter Pan this night is for you, not me” Alex smiled and small blush found its way onto his cheeks, take some time and imagine Alex blushing, .......yeah adorable right? I sat down next to Alex and placed a blanket over our laps. Alex pulled his feet up and snuggled into my side, I put my arm around him, I just want to comfort him, i hate seeing him sad or upset. Why would anyone want to hurt Alex he is such an amazing person, so unique and creative. Why would you take something so beautiful and try to destroy it? I was pulled out of my thoughts

“Thank you Jack”
“For what?”

“For all of this, the tea” oh I forgot about the tea, “You keeping me calm, I was on the verge of tarring my hair out" he laughed "for playing my favorite movie, for making me happy. Thank you for just being… well, you, Sometimes I think you know me better than I know myself” I picked up my tea and had a sip “well I have been your best friend since you where 14 I wouldn't do anything to hurt you, ever.” He laughed “Yeah i know that's why i came here first when everything happen…. I missed you Jack” Alex wrapped his arms around my waist “Don’t worry; I’m not leaving anytime soon, Can I stay here?”
“Sure, I don’t see why not” i shrugged
“No Jack I mean stay, I know your old roommate Venn left a couple days ago”
“Oh you mean like a room mate” Alex nodded

Wow he must really be done with Lisa, I nodded “Sure Lex, we’ll split the rent” Alex smiled and hugged me tighter “Thank you Jay, I’ll pick up my stuff on Friday, I would just tell Lisa to leave, but memories you know” I nodded and looked forward, we where watching a movie.
Nana is trying to clean up the blocks on the floor, Thats a really cool dog’

When I movie was over I looked over at Alex who was passed out on my shoulder, well better put this sucker in bed. “Lex, Lex wake up I don’t want you sleeping on the couch you’ll hurt your back” no response “Lex?” he was out cold. I stood up and picked Alex up bridal style and carried him up stairs. I laid him down in Venn’s old bed and tucked him in. I walked out of his new room, before I shut the door I took a long look at him sleeping peacefully, “The things I do for you Alexander, the things I do” I shut Alex’s door and headed to my room stripping down to my boxers and climbing into bed. The moon was bright tonight lighting up some of my room, soon thoughts of Alex started to fill my head. What if they come back, What if they mess up everything between me and Alex? I barely held them in the first time, What if they come back?! I chose defeat, let’s face it Jack you know the feeling never left in the first place. “The things I do for you Alexander, and you have no clue” I felt my eyes get heavy “no *yawn* clue”
