The Blink Show

Chapter Twenty: Ghost on The Dance Floor

It's like the universe has left me
Without a place to go
Without a hint of light
To watch the movement glow
When our song was slowly starting
Your memory felt so real
At first against my will
But God invented chills

Alex's p.o.v.

When Jack accepted the call, I very quickly checked myself over in the camera before he joined.

"O-oh, hi." Jack said nervously, moving his hair from his fringe. I studied him for a little. He looked just as cute as he was when I first met him. He had a Blink-182 sweatshirt on and his hair looked really soft (even over the camera). Honestly, he looked really really cute.

"Hey." I smile at him, watching the way he bit his lip nervously. He was shy?

"You look hot." He says, staring at the screen, but then his eyes went wide.

"I-I mean h-how are you? A-are you okay?" He stuttered, his cheeks going pink. He called me hot? I felt my own cheeks start to turn pink.

"Well you look really cute, so..." I trailed off, watching his cheeks go darker, "and I'm all good. A bit tired, but I'm great. What about you?" I ask with a cheeky smile. I suddenly didn't feel that nervous anymore. I felt kind of comfortable with myself and what I was saying.

"O-oh, um, thank you. I'm good." I watch him speak. The way he smiled as he spoke, his eyes went shiny.

"Well, you do look cute with your cute little smile." I smiled, almost smirked at him, my voice went a little higher than usual. His smile really was cute, even if he thinks I'm joking.

"Shut up." Jack mumbled, ducking his head a little, looking at me through his fringe with a small smile.

"But it is!" I defend myself, saying it innocently.

"You're a dick." He sighs, sitting up more.

"What's that! You want to see my dick? Okay." I smirked, pointing my phone to my crotch as I set my fingers on the button of my jeans.

"No! Alex!" I could hear Jack shouting in protest. I laughed quietly.

"Are you sure? You might not be able to see it, as it's only two inches, but whatever." I joked bringing my phone so it was pointing at me. When I saw Jack's crimson cheeks, I burst out laughing.

"You're f-face, oh my God!" I said through my chuckles, feeling wetness at my eyes. It's just the way he looked so embarrassed and nervous with wide eyes, I found it really funny.

"You're mean." Jack huffed out a breath, looking at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"You're mean for calling me mean." I smirk at him. He fakes being angry, flicking his hair with his hand. Wow, he's such a girl.

"It's weird how we can joke like this. Like, I know we've been texting for a long time, but we barely know each other. It's weird, and I like it." It really is weird. I mean, I have met Jack and hung out with him, but it's strange how we can form this kind of friendship. But, I don't want this to be a friendship. Maybe I want something more...

"Yeah, but it's cool." He says in agreement. I nod my head at him, ducking my head a little, wondering if I really want Jack and me to be more than friends. He's really sweet, funny, weird and awesome. Not to mention he looks like some hot piece of ass. But how would our relationship work if we were dating? He's miles away from where I live in California. Would he even want a relationship with me?

I snapped out my thoughts by my dad slowly opening my door.

"Oh you're awake. Me and Mark are gonna stick some music on, is that alright?" He asks while dragging his hand through his brown hair.

"Yeah, sure, I'm talking to Jack, anyway." I grin at him and he nods, stepping out my bunk room and closed the door.

"Was that your dad?" Jack asked with slight wide eyes, and a massive smile.

'Yeah, he just came to check if it's alright to put music on, probably because I could've been sleeping."

"At this time?" He laugh quietly, and I swore I could've died from the sound of it. When he laughs, he makes a hip cup noise, and it is probably the cutest thing I have ever heard Okay, it was the cutest thing I have ever heard.

"Yeah, I can be lazy. Your laugh is great, by the way." I say, grabbing a bottle of juice from the floor that I left last night. I tilt the caramra away so Jack doesn't have to watch me drink, because that'd be weird. I heard music only seconds later. It wasn't too loud, but I could just notify it was Jimmy Eat World playing. I put my drink down after drinking all what was left of it, and turned the camera back to my face.

"Sorry, that was the sound of me drinking, not two whales sucking each other off," I try not to laugh at my own immature joke.

"Wait, what?" My eyes widen in fake terror, and I clasp my hand over my mouth. I heard Jack giggle, and I couldn't control what came out my mouth.

"You're so cute." I say quickly in one breath, before my eyes widened a bit more. I couldn't help but point it out, because really, he is adorable.

"Oh, um, thanks. You're cute, too." He blushed as he mumbled the words and look down so his fringe was in his eyes. Damn, if he was sat in front of me right now, I would lift that fringe up, then kiss his li- Okay, I need to stop.

"Hey, I'm gonna go pee. Here's the exciting ceiling of my bunk." I stick my tongue out, leaving my phone on my bunk and walk out my door. The music was much louder now, and I made my way to toilet with my head down. And when I lifted my head up, I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

My dad straddling Mark, their lips locked, pulling each others hair. I stared in shock, slowly backing up backwards. When my dad grinded down on Mark, I basically ran to my bunkroom. Screw the toilet. What the fuck did I just see? My dad making out with his best friend? What the actual fuck? I rushed into my bunkroom, sitting on my bed and picking my phone, panting with shock.

"Well that was quick," Jack joked, sitting up from where he was laying down. I stared straight at him, then inappropriate images of Me and Jack being in my dad and Mark's position popped up. And that wasn't the only thing that popped up.

"I have to go, I'm sorry. I-I'll speak to you later, bye Jack." I rushed out, quickly ending the video call. I let out a deep breath and shook my head as the thoughts came back. Why the fuck was my dad making out with Mark? It couldn't of been a drunken mistake either, because they were told strictly not to drink because they have a show later on today, by their manager.

Did my dad and Mark have a thing?
