Memories That Fade Like Photographs

I couldn't believe it, I just saw Jack kissing some slut in the coffee shop. How could he do this to me? Was it because I moved away? Did he not love me anymore?

Tears started to spill as I ran towards the apartment. I don't know why I was running there, I guess I didn't have anywhere else to go. That's when I heard him calling for me. His long legs helping him catch up to me quick.

I took a sharp turn and ran into the park, hoping to loose him there. Of course, that didn't work as I felt arms wrap around my torso. I let out a cry of surprise as he pulled me so that my back was pressed against his chest.

"Let me go Jack!"

"No! You don't understand Lex. She kissed me! I promise I would never hurt you like that baby. Please..."

I sniffled and looked at the ground. How could I think that Jack would cheat on me?

"I-I'm sorry Jack. I didn't-"

He cut me off by spinning me around and pressing his lips roughly against mine. I let out a small gasp then a moan. He licked my bottom lip and I quickly granted him entrance. Our tongues fought for dominance but he eventually won. I let out a small sigh as his tongue explored my mouth. We broke apart and he rested his forehead on mine.

"I love you Lex, I've been in love with you for over five years now."

I smiled up at him and gave him a small peck on the lips. He pulled me into a strong hug and rested his head on top of mine.

"I love you too Jack, so much."

With that he took my hand and we both walked back home, both full of happiness knowing that we didn't loose each other.
