"Hello, Jack," said Alex threateningly. Jack reached forward and took a step toward them. Alex tipped Vanessa's chair back precariously, and Jack froze.

"Stop! What did she do?!"

"She stole you," replied Alex as if it should have been obvious. "What I valued most."

"Well, I'll... I'll..." Jack cast around wildly in his mind for a negotiation to make. "I'll get back together with you! Just let her go!"

Alex shook his head. "She took what I loved most from me. So I'll take what she loves most... from her."

Suddenly, Alex's head began to grow, turning a dark brown. No, realized Jack, not his head. His eyebrows.

Giant forms began to take shape in the depths of the giant eyebrows, and some of them reached for Jack. He recoiled, but the hair-hands grabbed him. He was pulled into the oblivion of hair, and could no longer breathe.

Jack gasped for air, yelling loudly. But it was muffled by the hair.

Suddenly, a new power seized him. He felt his eyebrows growing, becoming longer and thicker. His eyebrows pushed at the eyebrow hair around him, giving him room to breathe. Jack grasped at the strands, frantically pulling himself out.

He landed outside, on his back on the cold, hard rooftop. His eyebrows, still growing, began to spike at the ends. They swung towards Alex, almost sparkling dangerously in the light. Alex's eyes glittered.

One eyebrow of Alex's met Jack's in midair and they collided hard. Jack's other eyebrow hit Alex's leg hard.

"Shit!" yelled Alex, collapsing onto one knee. Jack's eyebrow wrapped itself around Alex's neck and held him over the edge of the building.

Suddenly, Alex pulled out a gun from his back pocket. Aiming carefully, he managed to hit Vanessa in the shoulder, Jack in the chest, and himself in the head just as he began to fall.

Basically Alex killed everyone the end
