Invisible
Chapter One
"WAKE UP, WAKE UP!
THIS IS NO HALLUCINATION!
THIS IS WHAT, WE HAVE BECOME!
THIS IS WHAT, DREAMS ARE MA-"
I rolled over in bed and slammed my hand against my alarm clock, trying desperately to get it to shut up. After about five minutes of fumbling around to find the button I just gave up and knocked it off of my nightstand.
It shut up, but it was probably broken.
I rolled over all the way to my right until I fell off of my bed with a thump. I groaned and laid there for a bit. I really, really don't like mornings. But after five additional minutes of me lying there debating wether or not to get up at all, I finally pulled myself into a standing position. I stumbled, then fell back onto my warm, inviting bed.
This is how my mornings always go.
Finally, after my alarm made a miraculous recovery and started blasting Suicide Silence again, I decided to actually get up and begin my day. Oh, joy.
I made my way over to the bathroom to begin my morning ritual. I fell into the shower and turned on the water.
"FUCK!"
I had turned on the cold water instead of the hot. As my muscles tensed up at the sudden cold, I grasped at the stupid little knobs until it wasn't the temperature of the fucking arctic sea.
At least I was awake now.
I sighed and laid my forehead against the wall of the shower, letting the now lukewarm water run down my body. I just stayed in that position for a good ten minutes before actually beginning to wash out my bright blue hair. When I was finally done showering, a good half hour process, I stepped out and wrapped myself in a threadbare, hairdye-stained towel.
Humming My Chemical Romance to myself, I made my way back to my room. I dug around until I found my favorite ripped up black skinnies and a Blink-182 top. I slipped on my all-black vans, grabbed my straightener and brush, and stumbled back to the bathroom. I quickly ran the straightener through my hair and brushed it through, repeating the process four or five times. I then looked through my drawer looking for my eyeliner. I applied a thick layer under my eye, making it gradually thicker in the corner. I then put on a few coats of mascara, looked in the mirror, and spat on it in disgust.
I was ready to go to Hell, aka school.
Notes
Heyo!
This is my first fanfic ever and honestly I think it sucks and sorry this Chapter was just a little intro into Emma's life. It's pretty boring right now. But wait a few chapter, it'll get a shit ton better, I promise. :)
@Jagk Skellington
Aw, well staying clean is hard to do, & I'm still proud of you even if it's only four days! If you were strong enough to last that long, then you could do it again c: & It's okay, I like what you've started so far on the sequel! <3
