Nightmares
Emotional Turmoil
Jack's POV
I am so sick of Rian right now. All he can talk about is how pissed he is that Grace just went right back to Alex like that. It's really fucking annoying, and he won't shut up.
"This is your fault, Jack. Your plan backfired, and what you promised me has been taken."
"You better fucking watch it , Rian."
"Or what? Since you clearly can't do anything right in the first place."
That's too far. I lose everything in a blind rage, slamming my fist into him repeatedly before wrapping my hands around his neck and literally dragging him to the stairs by his throat, throwing him down and enjoying every scream and thud of his body.
Then silence. Beautiful silence.
Grace's POV
The three of us have come up with absolutely nothing on how to escape from this place. It's really hard to focus though, with all the emotions running high right now.
It's even harder when we hear screams and other assorted loud noises coming from the stairs. We exit the room we were in, only to see Jack slam the door shut and a bloody and mutilated Rian at the bottom of the steps.
I can't help the scream that tears from my throat. I've never been good with blood or gore, but this is too much. I thought I loved this man for a while, so this is actually really frightening.
I'm scared.
