Zack's POV
We finally get Grace calmed down, only to have Jack come down to the basement. He grabs Rian and shakes him, looking satisfied with the groan of pain.

"Good, you're not dead. You can still be useful. Grace, Gracie, c'mon now. We're friends, aren't we? What are you doing hiding in the corner in Alex's arms? I won't hurt you, you know that."

"No, you MADE me think that. You were hurting me all along. Both of you."

I see the look of pure rage in Jack's eyes before Grace, having just enough time to grab his arm before it smacks her across the face.

"Please Jacky, don't hurt them."

"Fine, Zack. I won't hurt your little friends. But you need to come with me."

I'm scared, and by the looks of it Alex and Grace are too. But I know it's for the best. "Okay, Jacky."

I grab his hand and he leads me up the stairs, not letting go of me even when he stops to complete all the locks on the basement door. He chuckles at my expression.

"Yes Zack, I know what I'm doing here. This isn't a game, you know." He leads me through a maze of hallways back to the room we were in earlier. "Now strip."

I shake my head in disbelief at him. "You think I'm still gonna do that with you after all I've found out? You really must be crazy, Jack."

I realize too late that it's the wrong thing to do until I wake up tied naked to the bed with a killer headache and Jack grinning over me evilly.
