I hesitate a moment but then decide to slowly open the back lounge door. There's Alex humming quietly to his chords while papers full of handwriting are strewn on the table.

"Wow, Alex still up and working that late?" I softly whisper to him.

His head snaps around and although he looks startled for a moment his smile becomes wide.

"Wow, Easy why are you not working it's late." He gets up to hug me and places a soft kiss on my lips.

"I will have to soon, I just ran into Jack and wanted to make sure he makes it to his bunk safe and sound. We had a little conversation though." I add.

His face falls a bit and he looks at me apologetically "Oh, I guess-. I am sorry I know I promised not to tell anyone but he kept asking me what was wrong and he is my best friend."

"That's okay, I am not mad, but I wasn't even aware that 'something was wrong' with you. I wish you would have talked to me."

"I know I should have but you were always hanging out with other guys and I wasn't sure what was going on. Then I got all this ideas for new songs, I finally didn't just feel numb. And then I feared by going so fast I would freak you out and I don't even know what your feelings are. I don't even know what I feel." He mumbles into my hair.

"So it wasn't just a casual thing for you?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

"I don't fuck around, Easy. It was a lie I'm sorry but I felt something for you right from the start but I didn't dare to tell you." With that he hugged me even tighter then he pushed me back a little and searched my face for a reaction.

"Phew, Alex that's a lot to take in right now." I noticed what I had just said. "And don't you dare even thinking about making this a 'that's what she said' joke".

His head flew back as he was cracking up laughing. "Easy, stop it!" he said wiping his eyes. " God, that's why I adore you."

Then he went serious again "I have to tell you something else though. We were booked only for a few shows on tour. We are flying home straight after our set tomorrow."

I buried my face in my hands. "Oh Alex, you messed up big time, mate. You should have told me! Now we've been wasting all this time and I have to get to bus call. Damn it!" I lightly punched his chest. "You are such an idiot sometimes."

"I know, and I'm sorry, I wish that we could start again and do everything right this time." He looks at me sadly.

"Why don't we do this then? Hi, my name is Isabelle, people call me Easy for a reason. Sadly you are an idiot that has to leave tomorrow still I think you are awesome and I would like to get to know you better. Promise me we will see each other after tour?"

"Hi my name is Alex, sadly I'm an idiot that constantly fucks up. You have no idea what you do to me and I want to know everything about you cause what I've seen so far is all I ever dreamed of. Please let me see you after tour." He gave me a sweet kiss.

I could have stayed in his arms forever when I heard people entering the bus. "Shit Alex, it's bus call!"
