Was it Real? Or a Love Scene.

This contest is dumb, I have to hand it to Idobi, they’ve really outdone it this time. At first it was a cool idea, sending one of our fans, from wherever in the world, to Baltimore for a week. But the one part I didn’t like was that they were here for a date, yes the contest was win a date with All Time Low, and that part freaked me out a little. I love our fans, I truly do but seriously some of they are weird, in the nicest way I mean this but I did get chased to the back of our tour bus once. Anyways, back to the contest, they’re gonna get flown to Baltimore for a week and after going out to dinner with all four of us the first night each of us have a night to take her or him, it could be a dude, out on a nice evening. Well, you could say each of the guys has their own ideas about how this is gonna go.

Today is Friday, the day the winner is to be announced, we are set up sort of like we would be for Full Frontal. We are going to call the winner and tell them over the phone. It was all of us currently in my livingroom sitting around waiting for the generator to pick “The Chosen one”. I was leaned back on my couch just listening to the conversation going on. “What if she’s totally hot.” Jack suggested before taking a sip of his drink. “Why does that matter, all of our fans are beautiful.” Rian said. I chuckled and threw the pillow I had in my lap at him. It hit the side of his head. “Ow.” He whined and looked at me. I sat up leaning on my knees with my elbows. “That was for being a kiss ass.”

He laughed and turned away back to Jack. “How old did you have to be to enter the contest anyways?” Jack continued. “At least, eighteen.” Matt said. “Alright.” Jack said excitedly. Zack reached over and hit his arm. “What if it’s a dude, freak.” We all let out a chuckle. “Well then, good.” Jack continued. Our conversation continued to progress more towards the hilarious side until the generator came up with a number. “Alright, ready to make a call?” Matt asked. We all nodded and we inevitably pulled out my phone. I dialed the number and put it on speaker.

“Hello, Joe’s pool hall, Eight ball speaking.” We all froze, what did she just say? “Wait what?” I asked. She giggled. “Nothing. Something my friend has me saying, continue.” Again, we all froze. “Hello? Is this like a prank call cause I swear-” “No, this isn’t a prank.” Rian said. “Yeah, we are All Time Low and would like to offer you to come up for a week and come on a date with us.” Jack said. “Wait what?” She asked, I guess it was her turn to be confused. “Alright now you guys are really pranking me-” “No we’re not. This is a serious offer.” Rian said into my phone. “Wait, hold on.” She said as we could hear shuffling and what sounded like running up stairs.

We heard her conversation, muffled. ‘Alana Nilsa!’ ‘Yeah bitch, what can I help you with?’ ‘Did you sign me up for something?!’ ‘I sign you up for a lot of things-’ ‘Alana.’ ‘Maybe, Why?! Did you win?!’ Then more shuffling of the phone went on. “Hello?” Said a different voice into the phone, which I’m assuming is Alana. “Yeah, Hi. It’s All Time Low here and-” Zack started but was interrupted by Alana. “Holy Fucking shit balls, you won. I never thought in a million years-OW! Did you just bite me?!” “Yes, give me my phone.” More shuffling and the original girl came back up on the phone. “Alright, I’m so sorry about that. Now what were you saying.” “We’re All Time Fucking Low and would like it if you took a plane and came and had dinner with us, freaking jesus please just say yes.” I said rushed and annoyed into the phone.

She was quiet. “I uh… I-I mean s-sure.” She stuttered quietly into the phone. “Sorry, but how does this work?” She asked into the phone. “Umm,” I started. Shit, I just offended one of our fans. “We’ll send you the details, or I guess we could call you.” I said back into the phone, feeling terrible for yelling at her. “Y-yeah, either is fine. I g-guess I’ll talk to you guys soon then?” She said. “Yeah, of course. You are our lucky winner!” Jack said dramatically. “Ok, bye then.” She said. Then the phone cut out. Zack reached over and smacked the back of my head. “Way to be a dick.” He said and stood up. “Hey, well I’m sorry. You heard how she was on the phone!” I said defensively.

“Yeah, she sounded like a riot to be around.” Jack said. “I agree.” Rian added. “I’ll send her the stuff tomorrow.” Matt said hopping up. “Sounds good, I’m gonna head out guys.” Zack said standing up. “Awwe, why?” I whined. “Cause I’m tired, and you’ve been acting weird all day.” Zack said heading towards the door of my house. “Me, too. I’m gonna go meet up with Cass.” “Boo you whore!” Jack shouted plopping himself down on the couch next to me. I laughed at him. “You would quote Mean Girls.” Jack just smiled at me. “Bye, Ri! Bye, Zack!” Jack shouted. Matt had already left and Jack and I turned on the T.V.

“What do you wanna watch?” I asked flipping through the channels of movies. “What was that about earlier, why did you freak out?” Jack asked trying to draw me away from the T.V. screen.
“I don’t know, this is just a weird contest.” I said continuing to scroll. “Why, I think It’s cool.” He turned to me and I looked at him. “It’s a cool way to meet a fans. Well in this case one fan, but none the less.” He stood up from his spot on the couch. “Now where are you going?” I asked whining a little. “Chill dude, I’m going home. I wanna get home to tape Home Alone.” I rolled my eyes and stayed where I was on the couch. “Alright, get on home then.”

“See ya tomorrow, Alex.” Jack yelled as he left my house. I looked around at my empty house and decided that now would be a nice time to go to bed. I sighed before standing up off the couch and heading towards the stairs. I made it up and turned into my bedroom. Too lazy to change I just slipped out of my jeans and shirt and crawled under the covers.
