Chapter 2
Becca pov
“Alright Jack” I said as we sat down on the edge of some fountain, “Whenever we get a new student they have to get a tour so I will be doing that, I am also in all your classes so if you need help with anything you are supposed to come talk to me, that being said most of the time after I give a kid a tour I never end up talking to me cause they think I’m too weird but judging my your t-shirt you and I will get along just fine. Alright well let’s get started with this tour and we can talk and see if we would make good friends but if you like Green Day then something tells me we will.” With that I stood up and started talking. “Okay well this is the fountain…” I proceeded to show him all the things I should have all the offices and stair cases and such after about 30 minutes we ended up back at the fountain and sat back down. “Okay so that was our lovely school, now there are some other things I could show you but those places are secrets only known to a select few so we will have to become friends before that happens.”
“Okay” he responded with a chuckle
“Do you have any questions about the school or anything because we have another hour before we have to go to any class so..?”
“Yeah I don’t have any questions about the school but I do have a couple for you so I thought we could talk and see if we could be friends”
“Yeah that would be great.”
“Okay first question how did you get such an awesome taste in music? And what are your favorite bands?"
“Okay well Alex showed me the music. And Blink- 182, New Found Glory, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and so on.”
“Nice” We continued to talk for 45 minutes.
“Okay Jack first I think you are an awesome guy and you should sit with us at lunch cause I think we could be good friends.”
“Yeah that would be great but I have one more question.”
“Okay one more then we have to head to class”
“Alright how long have you and Alex been dating?”
Jack pov:
“Alright how long have you and Alex been dating?” I was waiting for her to answer when she started laughing and not like giggling like full out laughing.
“I don’t get it what’s so funny.” I said with a bit of an edge to my voice.
“I’m sorry Jack. Alex and I aren’t, we never have, and most likely never will date. The thing is he and I have known each other for so long and are just so comfortable with each other that, we just seem to act like we are dating but I promise we aren’t. He and I always joke how we’re soul mates who aren't attracted to each other.”
“Oh, okay I get it now.” So Alex was single, YES, although with my luck he probably wouldn’t be gay I mean why would someone that awesome be gay, maybe he was bi.
“So do you have any other concerns about the school?” Becca said interrupting my thoughts.
“Honestly I’m a little worried I won’t make any friends or having any sort of relationships with anyone.”
“Don’t worry, I’m already your friend and I’m sure my friends will quickly take a liking to you and about the relationship thing don’t worry, I mean a sexy beast like you all the girls will be falling all over you.”
“Yeah well thank you for being my friend and the compliment but the girls wouldn’t be that big a deal with me considering I don’t swing that way.” I chuckled out the response the realized what happened. I told Becca I was gay, oh god, what if she hates me what if she tells everyone.
“You’re gay?” Shit, shit it’s not like I could deny it. I will just have to fess up and beg for her to not tell.
“Yes I am, but please don’t tell I will do whatever you want but I don’t want this to get around. I don’t want to get made fun of. I understand if you never want to see me again”
“Hey Jack relax its cool and don’t worry I won’t tell anyone, and of course I want to see you again I don’t care if you like dick or not and yeah that’s smart so you should probably keep that a secret.” We then got up as the bell was ringing telling us to go to second block we were soon found by the guy I’ve been thinking about almost the entire time I was with Becca. “LLLLLLLEEEEEEEXXXXXXXXXXIIIIIIIIIIIIII.” Becca screamed and then ran to Alex jumping on and almost tackling him. “Oh my god Lex you will never guess what happened, Jack here thought we were dating isn’t that oh so silly.” I had to laugh now because come on; he was holding her on his hip like you would a toddler any normal person would assume they were together. “Really Jack? You though Becca and I were a thing? Nah no matter how much she wants to she will never get in my pants.” “Wow Lex way to make me sound like a total slut” Becca quickly shot back while they gave each other the most loving looks; however now that I look at them they don’t look at each other like they are dating, they look at each other like the are a brother and sister.
The day passed rather quickly at lunch I got to meet Zack and he seemed really cool even though he only said five words. I also got to meet Rian and Cass and they seemed really cool, well I gathered that information from when we talked, which wasn’t often considering they were pretty much attached at the mouth. Becca informed me that they were in fact dating. It was about 10 minutes till the end of the day when Becca and Alex came over to me.
“Hey Jack, Becca and I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out after school?” Was this real? Was Alex asking me to hang out with him?
“Yeah I would love that.”
Becca then spoke up saying, “Great here is my address do you have a car or…?”
“Yeah I have a car.”
“Great cause I don’t think we could all fit on Alex’s motorcycle.” He drove a motorcycle, damn; he just became 10 times more attractive.
“Yeah I will just come over right away if that’s cool.”
“Yeah that would be great.” Alex said, making my heart go a thousand miles an hour.
