The Next Big Thing

Alex Pov:
Jack and I have been dating for three weeks now, it’s the Monday before Thanksgiving break. In case you were wondering, no one in school knows about us aside from us, Becca, Zack, Rian, and Cass. Speaking of which Becca and Zack are still dating, it’s funny even though we are both dating someone we still act like a couple. We were all sitting outside eating lunch, aside from Cassadee because she had to talk to a teacher, even though it was late November it was still pretty warm. Rian and Zack were sat on the grass talking about music or something of the like. Becca was sitting on Zack’s lap talking with Jack and I who were sat next to each other about our plans for Thanksgiving.
“So Becca are you spending Thanksgiving with my family?” I asked.
“Well I’m sure as hell not spending it with mine, so yeah I will come over on Thursday morning to help your mom with the cooking. What about you Jacko, what are you doing for the holiday?” she said, while taking a bit out of her apple.
“Well my parents are going to Lebanon, and my sister is spending it with her boyfriend. So I’m not really sure.”
“Hey babe why don’t you spend Thanksgiving with my family?” I suggested turning to look at Jack, who was nodding yes. Just then Cass came running up to us, “Guys I think we have a problem.”
“What is it Cass?” I asked, worriedly.
“Well I was at my locker when I heard Nick and his group of friends talking about how they saw you and Jack acting like a couple and how they think you’re probably dating.”
“Oh shit. Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit!” this was bad, this was very bad.
“Okay we need to figure out a way to convince them that we aren’t gay.” Jack said calmly, though he looked as if he was about a panic attack. I understood why Jack moved to this school to get away from people bulling him because he was gay.
“Um… guys… I have an idea but I don’t think you’re going to like it, but I’m pretty sure it would work.” Becca said.
“Well what is it?” I asked in a hurried tone.
“Okay so you know how Nick and his friends always skip 4th and hang out by the old gym, what I think we should do is send one of you and a girl into the janitors closet in that hallway, make it look like you fucked walk out and make sure they see you. They will think you’re straight and you don’t have to worry.”
“Alright well how would this work and who would do this?” Jack asked
“Well I think it should be Alex and I because people already assume we are dating so it wouldn’t be too hard to believe, and what we do is walk in there, stay for a while, and then walk out. We both leave with fucked up hair, messy clothes, and a few hickeys and we’ll be good.” Becca said, and yeah it did kind of sound like a good plan.
“Okay only I’m not really cool with you giving my boyfriend a bunch of hickeys.” Jack said wrapping his arm around my waist.
“Yeah and I’m not really for Alex giving Becca any.” Zack said finally adding to our conversation. Becca had obviously thought this through because she continued on with, “Don’t worry we won’t be. Jack do you remember on your first day, when I said I could show you a bunch of secret places in the school?”
“Yeah” Jack responded monotonously.
“Well that closet is one of them, there’s a small staircase, ladder type thing that leads to a room upstairs that can only be opened from the inside. So Alex and I walk in downstairs in front if Nick, I go upstairs and open the door where you and Zack are waiting. Jack goes in and does some shit with Alex, Zack and I go and do some shit, then Jack comes back up and I go back down, then walkout with Alex.”
“That sounds like a good plan but the janitors closets are locked how are you going to get in?” Jack asked.
“Well back in freshmen year I… acquired, I guess would be the right word, a master key to the school. I can get into any room whenever I want.” She said with a smirk.
“It sounds like a good plan, and it would get those guys off our back.” I said looking at Zack and Jack, as if I was asking for permission.
“Yeah I guess.” Jack said with a sigh, “So when are we all going to do this?” He asked looking at Becca.
“I’m thinking Wednesday before break.” We all nod in agreement. This has to work it just has to.
