Isabelle's P.O.V

"What did you mean ?"
Those words caused another series of images to flash through my mind. I tried my best to shove them to the back and took a deep breath.
"Of my brothers accident..." I said, barley above a whisper but as his grip on me got tighter. I figure he had heard me. "But thats not all.."
I proceeded to tell him all about the dream I had had the other night, deciding to leave out the ones I had every night after that. Still causing me to break out in tears and shaking all over again. I didn't understand why I was so open and comfortable with this boy. I had only known him for about a week. This wasn't like me and I wasn't sure if I liked it or not.
"I'm sorry. I really am. I-I understand how you feel.." Alex said, softly but cringed a bit towards the end.
He knew how I felt ? but how..no one could understand this. I pulled back and gave him a puzzled look.
"Let's save that story for another time, eh ? Let's get you all bandaged up." He said.
I didn't want to leave it be but I let it slide for now like he wanted it to. After he bandaged my arm, it being very painful, we walked out of the bathroom and I sat on my bed. My phone lit up so i picked it up. I had 7 messages and 2 missed calls from Jack.

Jack: Sorry! I'm talking to my teacher. Be out in a sec!
Jack: Iz ?
Jack: Isabelle where the fuck are you ?
Jack: Is Alex with you too ? Where did you guys go ?
Jack: I'm starting to get worried. Please call me..
Jack: Isabelle, please!
Jack: Oh my god. Alex isn't answering either..I guess you guys went off to do something. Tell Alex that he has to be here before we go to the gig.
I sighed, feeling kind of bad for leaving him alone like that without telling him and making him worry.
"What is it ?" Alex asked.
"Jack." I said and typed back a quick message.
Isabelle: Sorry, Jay something came up. I didn't mean to worry you but I'm fine, Alex is with me. Don't ask questions, please. And before you ask and get all suspicious on me, no, I did not fuck your best friend. That's obviously your job (; See you later, Love you. x
I pressed send and looked up at Alex who had his phone in his hand, rolling his eyes at something.
"What is it with you now ?" I asked.
"Jack too. Say's I better not be fucking you." he said, laughing.
I tried holding in a chuckle. "Yeah, I told him that was his job."
"You what ?! Oh my god." he was laughing even harder now.
"It's not my fault you guys give off the whole love vibe." I said.
He rolled his eyes again, typed back a message to Jack and looked too me afterwards.
"What do you want to do ?" I asked.
"Well, we don't play at the venue until 7 and its only 4 now so maybe watch a movie ?" Alex suggested.
I thought about it for a second and thought it wouldn't be such a bad idea but did he really want to be around me after what just happened ?
"Uh, sure. But are you sure ?" I asked.
"Of course I'm sure." he said giving me that half smile, sending butterflies throughout my stomach.
"Okay. Jack said you have to be at Rian's before you guys play though." I said, trying to hide the obvious blush on my cheeks.
"Alright. What do you want to watch ?" he asked, walking out of my room, down the stairs.
"Uhm..horror ?" I asked, following behind him.
"Sure. Let's check on Netflix." he said, taking a seat on the couch.
I had forgotten about my arm being bandaged up and how I was only in a tank top. I felt a bit exposed and uncomfortable so I excused myself and went back upstairs to grab a clean sweatshirt. Throwing the one covered in blood in my closest to clean for later when no one was home and clean up the blood on the floor. When I was done I went back downstairs. Alex was still sitting on the couch but with a bag of chips and two cokes in front of him, looking as comfortable as ever.
"Ready ?" he asked me.
"Yep." I said, popping the 'p' and taking a seat on the other side of the couch. Alex patted the seat next to him so I came right over and laid my head on his shoulder. He started the movie and throughout the whole thing, Alex was jumping at every sound and person that popped out. I couldn't contain myself and was laughing the whole time, mainly because of Alex's reactions to everything but also to the fact that I wasn't scared at all.
"That was fucking horrible! Why did you make me watch that ?!" Alex said, still hiding behind his hands.
"Oh come on! That wasn't even scary!" I said, still in fits of laughter.
"You're horrible." Alex pouted.
"Maybe I am but at least I'm not a 6 year old girl trapped in a 17 year old body." I said, sticking my tongue out at him.
"You take that back!" he gasped.
"Nope." I said, popping the 'p'
"You're gonna regret that." he said with a playful glare.
"And how's th-" I was cut off when his hands went to my sides, attacking them. Making me squeal and jump off from the couch.
"Alex!" I said before taking off into the kitchen.
"Don't think you're getting away that easy." Alex said, getting off the couch and coming after me.
We went back a forth on each side of the counter until I ran out and went upstairs. I heard his heavy footsteps behind me, making me run faster but I didn't run fast enough because Alex caught me by the waist at the top of the steps, picked me up and carried me into my room.
"Alex let me down!" I yelled, laughing, hitting his back.

"Gladly." he said before placing me down on the floor. He attacked my sides again and I lost my balance, falling backwards onto my bed, Alex lading on top of me. As soon as our laughter died down, I noticed we were still in the same position and I couldn't tear my eyes from his. They were so captivating. Light brown with a hint green and not mention that the light from my window captured them perfectly, making them glow. He started to lean in closer and that familiar feeling in my stomach came back. Was he going to kiss me ? What this seriously about to happen ?
