Victoria knew her life was taking a turn for the best when she quit her job at the local movie theater. She was finally taking charge of her life and what she really wanted to do.

Since reuniting with her good friends, All Time Low offered her a good paying job as their main photographer for tours. That meant she was doing one of her dreams: traveling around the world. And what could be better? She was doing it with her friends and doing something she loved.

And before you ask: no, Victoria and Alex are not together. Though they did share a wonderful kiss at Warped Tour 2013, they decided to not mix work with play and not have a committed relationship on tour. And no matter how much Rian lectured his friend on how stupid that sounded, Alex always replied with a “It was her idea, not mine!”

It was the next summer, and ATL were excited to be back for Warped Tour. They always loved playing it and being with their friends, and Victoria loved it more with having her new backstage opportunities. Their first stop was Salt Lake City, Utah, and the band was already talking of “turning up the boring town.”

“WE’RE GONNA GET TURNT!” Jack hollered as he flopped on couch next to Alex. He would’ve kept running around if the bus hadn’t knocked him off his feet.

“I swear to god, Jack, if you keep on saying that …” Victoria muttered while cracking open a beer.

“Hey!” Alex called to her, making everyone on the bus look his way. “It’s only eleven AM.”

She cocked an eyebrow as she took a sip from the bottle. “So?”

“That means get me one as well,” he smirked her way. All she did was laugh as she threw a Stella into his lap. “Good throw,” he quipped.

“Good catch.” She then retorted, smirking.

“C’mon, Gaskarth,” the famous Vinny Vegas said while hitting Alex’s shoe and walking into the small kitchenette. “That’s no way to talk to a woman.” The Italian shook his head while starting to massage Victoria’s shoulders.

Alex pointed his way. “Get your hands off my woman!”

“Always the charmer, Vincent,” she chuckled, swatting his hands away and plopping down on the couch on Alex’s lap. “And I ain’t your woman.”

Alex only smirked as he tapped her legs like a drum. “Not yeeeeeet.”

Jack rolled his eyes. Sure, they agreed they wouldn’t date, but no one could deny how hard Alex and Victoria flirted. It made Jack want them back together so the sexual tension in the room would stop. Besides, Jack noticed how his friend had changed since the whole thing with Lisa. He became more devoted to Victoria than ever before.

But there was always two sides to Jack’s reasoning. He had missed Victoria a lot, more than he missed any other girl before. He wasn’t sure how this “feeling” thing worked, but he knew that whatever it was he was feeling, it was strong. Holy fuck, was it strong. Strong enough to also not want Victoria and Alex back together.

“Alright, guys!” Matt Flyzik, their known tour manager, exclaimed, walking in from the back room. “First Warped show for this year! Excited?”

“I will be once Vic gets off of Alex.” Rian remarked from his seat next to Zack at the table.

The muscly boy next to him nodded. “Yeah, I’m going to barf.”

Victoria threw them all her middle finger before laughing down at Alex. “Well, if it matters, I’m excited, Flyzik. It should be fun standing in front of the whole stage without any shoving while taking some nice action shots.” She mimicked taking photos with her fingers.

“At least we have one,” Matt said, hitting the back of Jack’s head.

“Yes, and to show it, I got you a special present and it’s waiting in the kitchen.” She smiled.

“Really?” He beamed. “Now, guys, this is why she’s my favorite.”

Victoria smirked to all of them while Matt walked into the kitchen and found the object she wrapped in newspaper. “Well, you tried,” he joked at her wrapping and opened the present to find a Mickey Mouse coffee cup.

The whole band erupted in laughter as Victoria said, “I thought it was needed since you didn’t have one yet.”

He falsely smiled to all of them, muttering, “Thanks, Vic, thanks.”

“No problem.” She grinned and stood up, walking to the backroom to play videogames with Danny.

“Yo, dude,” Zack smacked Alex’s arm once he knew Victoria couldn’t hear. He pointed his thumb in her direction of walking. “Why don’t you hop on that again?”

Alex sighed as he took a sip of his Stella. “You know why.”

“C’mon,” Rian persuaded as he hit his friend’s leg a couple of times. “The famous Alex Gaskarth I know doesn’t take no for an answer.”

Alex’s form of reply was in the form of a grunt, causing Vinny to ask, “Seriously, man, why not?”

“She’s the total package,” Jack finally perked up, eyes set in the direction Victoria had walked. “She’s gorgeous, smart, funny, and talented.”

“Then why don’t you date her, Jack?” Alex sneered.

The skunk-haired boy only chuckled softly. “Only with your blessing,” he joked.

Alex let out another sigh. “It’s just what I’ve heard around from the other bands.”

“And that is?” Rian raised a brow.

“I was talking to Jaime, from Pierce the Veil, the other day, and he said there was some rumor around about one of my exes being Sleeping with Siren’s new website and blog manager.” The vocalist whistled, chugging the rest of his beer.

“You don’t think it’s―?”

“I don’t know.” Alex shrugged. “But let’s hope not.”
