Alex sighed and opened the door to his apartment. It was only a day back into the week after break and he could honestly say that he was over going back to his job. Of course he loved it but the students, all but Jack, seemed to be in a coma state when it came to his class. Despite his efforts everyone seemed to be done with their former excitement in English. The teacher made his way to the couch and plopped down on it, sure he'd had a lot of down time the entire day but Alex was still spent.
Although he did have just enough energy to spend time with Jack once he came over within the next hour. Really Alex was just a man with his priorities set.

"I missed you." Jack mumbled as he nuzzled into his boyfriend's chest.
"I know I missed you too." Alex replied, kissing the younger's hair breathing in his scent. "Y'know, you never told me how it went with your mom and step dad."
"Oh...I guess I didn't. Well it went really badly when I told them I was going to my Dads and I stormed out of the house. But now I guess my mom feels bad because she hasn't said a word to me about it. I expected to be grounded for at least a month but she's been avoiding me. Billie has just been sitting around as usual making jabs about my sexuality, so I guess things are okay." Jack sighed and tilted his head up to look eye to eye with Alex. "What about you, you haven't told me what happened with Travis yet."
"I-uh...are you sure you want to know?"
"Well yeah, I didn't like hearing you so upset...it'd be kinda nice to know why."
"He started hitting Kyle and Kyle told me about it...they broke up but I kinda lost control and beat the shit out of him when I saw him...Really nothing else happened."
"Well is Kyle okay?"
"Yeah, I'm not worried about Travis bothering him again. I think he may actually be putting himself out there for a new relationship already."
"Really? I'd think he'd wait a little while after that."
"Yeah, I'd think so too. But he can do what he wants I'm just glad he's not with anyone who hurts him the way Travis did anymore."
Neither of them said anything else for a long while, Alex running vertical lines along the younger's back with his fingertips and breathing him in. Jack closing his eyes and listening to the elder's heart beat steadily, soothing his rather edgy nerves.
"Lex...what do you thinks gonna happen with us later on?" Jack broke the silence, clearly letting out what'd been trapped in his mind for awhile.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean like do you think we'll be together a year from now? Or will we even last after I graduate?"
"Well I'd hope so, I can honestly say that I love you already...and I know that can last a lifetime. What's gotten you thinking like that anyway?"
"I dunno...Cass and Rian keep talking about how they're gonna be long distance because of college and they hope that they last...hearing that just got me wondering about us. Like what's gonna happen when I leave for school? Even when I graduate, if we tell people about us...what happens then? I know my mom won't be happy." Jack sighed and hid his face in the fabric of Alex's tee shirt.
"Don't think about it. I know that's tough but just don't think about it, we can handle what happens when we get to it. Right now we just need to be happy that we have each other, yeah?"
"Yeah." The teen agreed although Alex could still sense his uneasiness.
"And I promise I'll use everything in me to keep this strong. Cause I promise you that you're worth any trouble that comes my way."
Jack smiled at that, giving Alex the response he'd been looking for. "Well I hope I'm not too much trouble." Jack mumbled as he brought his lips up to brush against Alex's. "Cause I really like being with you and I'd like to be with you as long as possible."
Alex chuckled at that and hugged the younger's waist. "Well if things were my way we'd be together all the time." The teacher let out a contented sigh and brought a hand up to play in Jack's hair. "Y'know I'm gonna miss you so much over winter break."
"Why don't you stay home?"
"And leave my dad alone on Christmas? I can't do that to him."
"But we can figure something out right? I would really appreciate it if you'd be my Christmas present."
"Alright Jacky, I'll see what I can do. Besides we've got like four weeks before we really need to worry about plans."
"They'll be here faster than you think though."
Alex rolled his eyes at the other boy and opted on ignoring his statement completely. Sure he'd love to think ahead of how much time he could actually spend with Jack on Christmas but he'd much rather live in the moment. After all actually having Jack in his arms completely beat thinking of holding the other boy. Really it was common sense to take advantage of the fact that they were together now rather than waste time on something that Alex saw as quite trivial.
"Come take a shower with me." Alex offered, not making an attempt to move, waiting for Jack's response.
"A-are you sure?"
The elder of the two smiled and nodded, fighting back the urge to laugh at his boyfriend's uneasiness. "I can't believe you still get flustered around me." Alex chuckled, beginning to get up still keeping Jack pressed into his side. "Come on, I won't bite." Alex stood from the couch and placed a hand out for Jack to take.
"But you do bite...but I guess I trust you." Jack grinned, still wearing a pink blush, as he took Alex's extended hand and let the older boy lead him into the bathroom.

"Jack, come on. You can't just chicken out on me now." Alex said from the opposite side of the shower curtain, already standing underneath the spray of hot water.
"I'm coming...just stop talking." Alex rolled his eyes although Jack couldn't see him, but the younger boy sensed it."Stop making fun of me Lex, its not nice."
"Just get your ass in here. I've seen you naked before its not like I'm judging you or anything."
"Fuck off." Jack muttered as he stepped into the shower trying his best to avoid Alex's gaze.
The teacher smiled dotingly at the younger and reached out to pull him closer. "Y'know I really just wanted a shower right, nothing else."
Jack shrugged and rested his head on Alex's shoulder, clearly trying to calm his nerves. Alex simply reached for his vanilla scented body wash, maybe it was a little girly and for the brand he got it was expensive but as far as he was concerned it was worth it. He opened the cap and poured some into the palm of his hand, vanilla now wafting through the shower.
"Is that women's body wash?" Jack asked teasingly at the strong scent, already much more comfortable.
"No."
"Yes it is!" Jack laughed taking the bottle from his boyfriend. "No wonder you smell so nice all the time." He mumbled.
"Shut up, you have your panties and I have my shower gel now hand it over." Jack chuckled and gave the bottle back to Alex who was faking an upset frown at him.
"C'mere." The elder said a few moments later, vanilla wash in his hands ready to lather it on his boyfriend. Jack complied and turned so that he was no longer facing the elder. Alex lathered the body wash along Jack's chest and sides, tickling him just slightly with his long fingers.
"Stop it." Jack giggled, making no attempt to move away from Alex.
"Yeah yeah." Alex murmured now running his hands along Jack's bare shoulders leaving small kisses at the base of his neck. Jack leaned into Alex's touch, letting him work his hands around his bare skin. Bringing his own hand up to Alex's hair to play in the dampened strands. After a few long moments Jack was straightening up no longer leaning into the elder.
"Hey Lex?"
"Yeah?"
"Turn around, its your turn."
Alex didn't respond in words but let his hands slide from Jack's sides slowly until they fell off of the younger boy's body. The elder turned his back to Jack letting the younger boy do whatever it may be on his own time. A few short moments later Jack was rubbing his finger tips along Alex's scalp, clearly still not entirely comfortable with going much further. But Alex was completely fine with that, as long as Jack was comfortable enough to be around him like that. Really he was just happy to have Jack romantically at all so he savored the moment with very little talk until Jack began to trail his hands downward onto his chest.
"You don't have to go any further than you're comfortable with." Alex reminded the younger making sure that he was fine with whatever he was doing.
"Stop worrying Lex I know what I'm doing." Jack mumbled as he continued to slide his soapy hands downward onto Alex's abdomen. He mimicked the circular patterns that Alex had done on him earlier, slightly tickling the elder but not enough to make him squirm.
Not much later Alex was turning to face his boy, smiling at him lightly admiring the pale pink blush that rested on Jack's cheeks.
"Why don't you sleep over? I'll drop you off at home in the morning, yeah?"
Jack nodded and pulled Alex closer to the spray of water so that each of them were directly under the shower head. Before Alex could do much or register exactly what was going in Jack was leaning forward gently kissing him, bringing his hands up to the nape of his neck. Alex quickly succumbed and brought his hands to firmly grip the youngers hips. And yet again before Alex could protest Jack had pulled away and was stepping out of the shower.
"Typical Jack." Alex mumbled before switching off the water and following Jack's lead. Alex wrapped himself in a towel and dried out his hair with another before making his way into his bedroom, Jack having already left the bathroom.
Alex found the younger lying on his bed clad in a pair if his sweat pants and nothing more. Alex really couldn't fight back the smile that formed on his lips. It was evident that Jack was tired and fighting sleep off.
"Hey you." Alex murmured as he crawled on the bed once he'd also ditched his towel for a pair of sweat pants.
"Hi." Jack mumbled right back sleep evident in his voice. "Cuddle with me?"
Alex smiled and draped an arm around the younger boy's waist pulling Jack into his chest protectively. "God I'm so lucky to have you." He said; barely audible into the younger's dark hair.
"I'm lucky to have you too." Jack whispered back, having overheard Alex. Alex chuckled and planted a kiss onto the blonde patch of Jack's hair.
"Go to sleep dick wad."
"Goodnight Lex."
"Night babe." Alex mumbled, feeling sleeps lull begin to call him as well.
"Love you."
"Love you too."
Jack wrapped his arms around Alex's shoulders and pulled himself tighter to the elder. And just for a moment everything was exactly as Alex felt things should be, maybe their relationship was complicated but being with Jack was so worth anything that could be thrown his way.

Sorry this is late! I've got a crazy two weeks ahead of me, finals are next week so there will be no update (this Sunday included) and I'm going to Six Flags Thursday & having a sleepover Friday and Dikembe (such a good band bro) is coming in town next Saturday so yeah I can't write then...and I'm working on getting this boy to go out with me so theres also that...I surprisingly have a life lol, so this fic will be on hold for two weeks...so I hope the fluff made up for that. (I'm sorry this is not my best either.)
And to make this A/N even longer...You guys get to vote! So basically would you guys perfer Christmas sex or birthday sex(Jack's birthday though so it'd be way later in the fic)? Lemme know b/c I honestly cannot choose.
