Deer In The Headlights

Alex's p.o.v.

"Wanna watch a movie like last time?" I ask, rubbing Jack's side with my thumb. Jack nodded quickly.

"You'll have to get off me then." I laughed, trying to push him up, but he was staying put.

"Only if you come cuddle with me on the sofa." Jack said, crossing his arms over his chest. I know I can't see his face much, but I know there's a smile there.

"Okay, I will, just get off me you shit." I chuckled, pushing him forward. He stood up, dragging his socks along the carpet and flopped onto the sofa, groaning. I grinned, shaking me head at him before walking over to my Playstation Three. I turned it on, grabbing my controller and walking over to Jack.

"Move your butt." I said, signalling him to get up with my finger. He shook his head that was against the sofa.

"You won't get what you want if you don't." A smirk came to my face.

"Fine." He groaned, taking a second before sitting up and clasping the other way, shuffling to the end of the sofa. I rolled my eyes at his laziness and went to sit on the other end just to piss him off.

"What do you think you're doing?! Get here and cuddle me now!" He demanded, yelling and pointing at himself to emphasise what he was saying (yelling). I shook my head, looking over to the screen to put up Netflix. I could feel shuffling beside me, and before I knew it, Jack's head was in my laps.

"Hi there." I chuckle, leaning down to peck his lips.

"Hello." He says quietly, looking up at me. I smile and look back to the screen, looking through the popular films.

"Madagascar oh my god!" I gasp, instantly clicking on it. That shit is the shit. Jack chuckled, and only then did I realise where about Jack's head was. Yep...my crotch.

"Jack stop moving your head." I sigh playfully, one of my hands beginning to play with his hair, the other Jack held. He nodded, only making me bit my lip. He seriously had to do that, didn't he?

"This film is so fucking old." Jack complained, groaning and playing with my hand as the menu came up on the TV.

"Shut up and watch the God damn film." I murmured, clicking play on the film. He turned his head back to the TV, me trying to ignore the fact that he keeps moving his head.

"Hey, I just noticed something!" Jack gasped, turning his head to look up to me. I looked down at him so he didn't have to look up my nostrils, because I'm sure that wasn't a pleasant sight.

"What?" I ask, raising my bushy eyebrow at him.

"You look like the lion and I look like the zebra because of our hair. Oh my God!" He beamed, acting as if he had found a cure for a disease. I thought about it for a second. We actually did.

"Jesus fuck, we do!" I laughed, ducking my head to peck Jack on his soft lips.

"Remember the 'Lion Thing'?" I whisper, smirking. Jack groaned playfully.

"Don't even dare." He said in a warning tone, looking up to me, keeping his lips in a straight-line.

"Are you surree?" I ask, teasing him by dragging out the 'sure'. This caused an eye roll by Jack.

"Yes, Alex. I'm sure." His voice sounded convincing, but his eyes had not. I laughed suddenly, finding the way he had 'sure', funny. His accent is so weird. He looked at me with confusion before slapping me lightly across the chest.

"Hey!" I exclaimed, mocking a hurt expression as I let got of his hand and pulled it to my chest.

"Stop laughing at me." He mumbled, pouting after, looking at me with his eyes shining.

"It's not my fault I find it funny how you say su-or-uh." I giggled.

"What? I don't say sure like that!" He fought back, not believing that he totally did say 'sure' like that.

"Shore-uh, Jack. Shore-uh." I teased again. He groaned in frustration, totally knowing I was right.

"Why do you always pick on me?" He whined, sitting up, yawning. How could he be tired this early? He fell asleep in the car earlier. I guess he's just really tired?

"Because I love you." I smiled. He turned around, this time the pout was gone. He managed a smile, turning him self around and hugging me from the side.

"That's nice. Question: can I sit on you laps again? I'm sorry but you're so comfortable to sit on." He blushed with embarrassment. I already like that blush. I brushed off the fact he didn't say he loved me too, instead nodding.

"Su-oh-uh." I smirked. I love winding him up, it's actually fun to see him get annoyed. He rolled his eyes before quickly getting up and sitting on my laps. I instantly wrapped my hands around his waist, my head over his shoulder so I could see the TV.

"By the way, I love you too." He murmured, rubbing his nose against my cheek. Okay, so I fucking love it when he does that. He gives me this funny, weird feeling in my belly that leaves a pink colour to my cheeks. I turned my head to peck him on the nose which resulted in him getting the scarlet cheeks and turning his head to look at the screen. I smiled at him before resting my head on his shoulder. I loved this guy a lot. Even though he's younger than me, my patient, and we're not really allowed to be dating because the Law can be a bitch. In what way did they have to tell someone what age group they're allowed to date? I don't honestly think that's fair. You fall, you fall. When you fall, there's no way you're getting back on your two feet. And believe me, I don't think I even have anything to get back up for.
