Deer In The Headlights

Jack's p.o.v

I was currently laid out on my bed, petting Olivia and thinking about the events today. I had saved somebody's life, well, kinda. I didn't save him, the doctors did that. I found him though, right? Just in time. My main concern was why Zack was there in the first place. He's popular and has the best life. Well, that's what it looks like to me and others. Maybe that's what's getting to him. All the trying to keep his reputation up got a little too hard? I don't know, I don't know the boy.

I looked down at Olivia sleeping on my chest, her hair tickling my chin. I smiled and petted her head. I stared up at the ceiling, my mind finally going blank. Well, yeah, that was until of course no other than Alex came through.

Ugh, don't even get me started on that sexy fucker. Dammit, that man will be the death of me. He's most probably been the best thing that has ever happened to me in a while. I loved everything about him. I loved his soft pink, brown with a tint of white hair that my fingers would roam through. His brown eyes that I could constantly stare into. His lips. Nope, don't even get me started on those lips. Most of all, I love his personality.

My phone beeps from beside me. I instantly snap my head at it, looking at it on my table beside me. I carefully reached over to it, trying not to wake Olivia up. I grabbed it and looked at it.

A New Message

I opened it, seeing Rian's name displayed on it.

" Hey, wanna hang out? " It said. I rolled my eyes. I haven't had anyone over in ages.

"Sure, come over at 6" I put. That gave me two hours to do what the fuck I want. I closed of Rian's message, scrolling down and seeing Alex's name in my contacts. Oh, fuck. I forgot I had his number. I smiled, but biting my lip as I clicked on it and looked at the green button. Should I call him? Why the fuck not?

Beep, beep...

Beep, beep...

What is he doing?

Beep...bee-

" Ohh... Hello. " I heard some kind of moan and than an annoyed 'hello'. I bit my lip with a bit of nerves. What if I was annoying him.

"Hi." I replied, smiling at myself. I could hear ruffling in the background.

" J-Jack? Oh, hi. " Alex said back. He sounded out of breath a little.

"Are you okay?" I asked, sounding a little concerned. I was concerned.

" Fu-I uh, yeah, I'm okay. " He squeezed out the sentence.

"Jack." I heard a very, very quiet whisper. That's when I realised. I had to hold back a chuckle. In reality, I should be sort of freaking out.

"Having fun?" I asked, trying to sound as if I didn't know what he was doing. I heard move shuffling in the back ground.

" Y-yeah. Hey, could you uh, maybe c-call me back later? I have something to sort out. " Alex asked, barely above whisper. I bit my lip, because seriously? What an awkward time to of called him. I smirked.

"Why sure, sexy. Have fun 'sorting out' things." I purred, instantly hanging up. Holy shit, he wasn't was he? I ended up laughing, waking Olivia up as my chest went up and down. She stretched out her tiny legs, yawning.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I chuckled, still remembering what happened. Wait...he whisper-moaned my name. I...should I be freak out? I don't know. He's my boyfriend, he can, right? I chuckled, shaking my head.

Well, things are going to be awkward for him the next time I see him.
