Deer In The Headlights

Jack's p.o.v.

"Wh-what the hell?! How did you beat me with your crappy Ford?!" I whined. Alex just won, most probably by me crashing into every corner I go to. I placed the controller down, pouting.

"Fuck yeah!" Alex yelled, watching the screen as it fully clarified that he had won. I rolled my eyes turning the other way, my arms still pressed against my chest.

"Jacky, don't be mad." I heard Alex say from beside me. I rolled my head so it was facing him.

"But you beat Barakat." I 'sadly' said. Alex's face softened even more as I said that.

"Hey, at least I have unlock a new trophy." Alex smiled, seeming happy. I rolled my eyes. I've been doing that a lot lately.

"Fuck you and your trophies." I pouted. I most likey looked like an over dramatic teenager; which actually describes me pretty well.

"Let's watch another movie!" Alex changed the subject, getting off the sofa and walking over to the ps3 and took the game out. And yeah, I was staring at him, so what? He fiddled around, placing the game in it's rightful case. He then walked back to me, raising an eyebrow at me.

"What?" I said innocently. He mm'd, sitting down next to me. I smirked, he totally knew I was staring.

"What films?" Alex asked, turning so he could look at me. I stared into his hazel eyes. If I look closely enough, I could see my self through them.

"You pick." I smiled, continuing to stare into Alex's eyes until they left mine. He continued to look through films until he decided to type one in.

"Peter Pan?" Is he serious?

"Yep." Alex popped the 'p' as he spoke. I rolled my eyes. I moved closer to Alex.

"I'm sorry if I'm annoying, but I really want to hug you." I sighed, leaning my head on Alex's shoulder. I was a little surprised when he wrapped his arms around me and brought my closer.

"You're not annoying; your hugs are the best." Alex chuckled, playing the movie. I smiled widely. At least he doesn't find me annoying. I've been hugging him all day, so I thought he would be a little annoyed. I smiled, my eyes fixing on the TV.

I yawned as the movie finished. I wasn't even tired, but I randomly just yawned. I'm strange.

"You 're tired? But it's only, like...five." Alex looked over at me like I was some monster. I laughed, shaking my head.

"No. I guess it was because I was into the movie that my brain just... I don't know." I mumbled. My knowledge is crap. Alex chuckled at me.

"You're the smartest guy I have ever met." He joked, kissing me on the nose. I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up." I mumbled again, cuddling closer to Alex, some kind of butterflies and dragonflies going on in my gut. Did I ever tell you that Alex is really comfortable and warm? Well, yeah, he is.

"What now?!" Alex made me jump a little his sudden outburst.

"Uh-uh-uh, I don't know!" I yelled back.

"Oh snap!" Alex gasped, looking down at me with wide eyes and mouth hung open.

"What?" I gasped back, smiling at the end of it.

"We have nothing to do!" Alex looked at me in horror. I gasped back, this time leaning up to bring my lips with his. His eyes went from wide to softer as he kissed me back slowly. I smiled into the kiss because damn, Alex is cute. I brought my hand up to Alex's cheek. I could feel the softness of his cheeks on my hands, making my hand warm up. Alex began to push me down so my back was laying flat on the sofa. My knees were still up though, so Alex went between my legs, half straddling, our lips still moving with each others. I moaned gently as he swiped his tongue against my bottom lip, making me kiss him more hungrily. Both my hands now reached for the back of Alex's head, my fingers running through his pink and brown hair. His hair felt so soft against my fingers as I began to pull on a strand. I need to remind myself to ask where Alex gets his shampoo from. Alex broke the kiss so we could actually breathe. I opened my eyes to see Alex looking down at me, his hair just about touching my forehead. My chest was rising and falling slowly with excitement and nerves. My belly roamed with fire breathing dragons with every second. We just continued to stare at each other, both taking in that very detail. I feel so lucky to have Alex. Though, he should've found someone better than me. I'm a piece of shit. A walking piece of shit that shoud've even be alive. I should've died by that bus, but once again, I cheated death.

"Jack, are you okay?" I heard Alex say softly, his eyes staring right into mine. I looked at myself through his orbs. What I saw was a nobody. A depressed, stressed, and worthless teenage boy that is soon to be an adult.

"Yeah." I breathed out the word I've used to many times to lie with. I suddenly realised the position we are in. Alex's hands are beside my each ear. His legs are at my waist at was half sitting on my crotch; my knees are still up.

"Jack, I know you're not. What's bothering you?" He asked, moving his head closer to mine now. I don't wanna tell him. He'll think that I'm not happy and that I'm denying everything about this relationship. Which is a lie. I love being with Alex. I'm in love with Alex.

I'm in love.

In the first time in years, I'm actually in love. To be honest, it's the best feeling ever.

"Jack-"

"I love you." I whispered very quietly. Alex seemed to of zoned out automatically to them words. Fuck. What if it's too early? Fuck, it is! We only started dating officially two days ago. Alex seemed to of came down from his zoning out.

"I-I thin-...I-I love you, too. And I mean it." Alex breathed out, staring at me a while before connecting his lips down to mine.

He loves me.
