Would You Mind Making Me Happy The Rest of Our Lives? ENTRY #4

“Rian?” Jack looked at his friend, worried. “Rian, is everything okay?”

“Um? Y-yeah… why?” Rian looked back at the skunk haired boy with teary eyes.

Jack sat beside his friend and hugged him. “Riri, what’s wrong?”

Rian couldn’t help a laugh at the pet name. “Where did that came from? The Riri thing.”

“Don’t change the subject! I can tell that you’re sad, your eyes give you away.” He shrugged.

“It’s nothing. I just miss Cass, you know. Nothing to worry about.” Rian stood up and went to his bunk to take a nap before tonight’s show. Tonight they would be playing in the city he met Cassadee for the first time, and that made things worse. He hadn’t seen his girlfriend in six months. Sure, they had skyped, and talked, and texted, but it wasn’t the same thing. He just wanted to lay on their bed and watch a crappy movie while they cuddle and play with her hair. He missed her so much it hurted, and he could tell she missed him too. Don’t get him wrong, he enjoyed being on tour more than anything else, it was his dream since he was a little chubby boy. If he could only get to see Cassadee a few hours, everything would be better.



“Love you Florida! We’re All Time Low, thank you for having us!” Alex yelled while the crowd cheered and shouted things like “we love you” and stuff. Rian up and ran onto Zack, while Jack and Alex copied his actions and jumped onto their friends. Matt entered and told them they had to leave to the tour bus, so they gave a last view to the crowd and exit to stage. The four boys walked through the halls on to the tour bus, while the crew congratulated the band for the amazing show they had today. Vinny told them there was a party tonight at a bar near the hotel they would be staying today at. Jack and Alex exchanged a glance, after smirking at each other and telling the group they had already had something planned for tonight. Jeff and Matt faked a disgust face. Everybody knew what this two were up to. Zack said he wanted to go to skate for a while, and Rian said he was too tired to do something. Vinny sighed and told them there were all a bunch of assholes, and went to the party on his own with other boys of the crew.

“Hey dude, what’s up with you?” Zack asked Rian, when everybody had leaved.

“Nothing, I’m okay Zee.” Rian said while he opened the tour’s bus door.

“Rian! This is all a mess! Can’t you be more tidy?! I can’t find something cute for you to wear tonight!” Rian’s jaw dropped as he saw Cassadee with a frown on her face while holding an old Rian’s shirt. He hadn’t used that one in years, why the hell had he bring it to tour? Now it didn’t matter. Cassadee was there. The girl turned around and send Rian a huge sweet smile. “Are you going to say hello or what?” the girl opened her arms, and Rian ran to her, hugged her, and then kissed her a million times, recibing a few ‘aaaw’s from Jack, Alex and Zack. Rian turned around and glared them, but Cassadee just laughed.

"I missed you so much.” Rian said, hugging her once more. “But… what are you doing here? Why are you here?”

Cassadee just smiled wider than before. “Because I missed you too.”


After an hour later, the couple was walking hand in hand in the street, going to some romantic place Rian had found at last moment. Fortunately, he could made a reservation in the last minute and get an awesome private booth.

“Good evening!” a blonde said, walking to them. “Do you have a reservation?”

Rian nodded. “Dawson.” The woman checked her list and walked them to their booth.

“I will bring you the menu in just a second.” The woman said, happily, and left them alone.

Cassadee moved her hand through the table, finding Rian’s, and locking their fingers together.

“When did you arrive here? How did you even managed to get in the tour bus?” Rian asked, looking at his beautiful girlfriend.

Cass shrugged. “My mom saw I was kinda sad because I missed you a lot, so she decided to buy me a ticket to the next city All Time Low was playing in. I called Matt and told him about the plan, and how it had to be a secret because I wanted to surprise you. He told me when it was sure you were on stage, so I could get in the bus without getting noticed. He thought it was cute that I wanted to surprise you.” She giggled, making Rian laugh at how awesome his girlfriend was. “I arrived this morning, taking time to buy some clothes. Like, the suit you’re wearing. You look so sexy with it.” Cassadee winked at his boyfriend, the one who was now blushing.

“I hate you!” he said, embarassed by the fact that he was a guy… and was blushing.

“No you don’t.” She said, pecking his boyfriend on his lips.

"Um…” the waitress was standing there, awkwardly coughing to get the couple’s attention. Cassadee blushed, and mumbled a little sorry to the woman, who smiled at her. “I brought you the menu. Do you already know what do you wanna drink?”

Rian shrugged. “Coke for me.”

“Same.” His girlfriend said while grabbing the menu and start reading it.

“Cass, when they bring us the food, I wanna tell you something. I just want to let you know before you start rambling about something...”

“Why don’t you tell me now?”

“Because they might come in any second and I might get interrupted.”

“But you can continue when they leave! Now I’m intrigued!” Cassadee pouted, and Rian just chuckled.

"I promise; it will be worth the waiting.”

After another half an hour, the couple had already asked what they wanted to eat, and the food was in their table.

“Riri! The food has come! I wanna know what you wanted to tell me!” Rian looked at his girlfriend awkwardly. He had to do it, it was now, or to wait for another four months in which Cassadee could get an awesome man, handsome, that could be all days of all the weeks of all the months with her. So, he had to do it now, before that could happen.

“Well… um… I don’t know where to start. The thing is… I love you, a lot. I don’t only love you, I adore you. I like seeing your face at the mornings, and hearing your morning voice, and cuddling with you while watching a crappy movie. I like to eat with you, to sit with you, to walk with you, to dance with you… I love being with you. I love living with you. I love your little obsessions, the way you’re so passionated with music, the way your smile evertime someone congratulates you for what you make. I love your eyes. I love your smile. I love the way we are so cheesy with each other, don’t giving a fuck of what the others think about it. I love how we never fight, and, if we do, we forget it almost instantly. I love how you start kissing my neck to get my atenttion, because you know that drives me crazy. I love you. I love your imperfections too, because they are your imperfections.” Rian took the box with the ring from his pocket. “And I don’t know what I did to deserve you, but I’m so glad I did so, because I actually fucking love you. So much it hurts. And I know that there are a lot of other very handsome and awesome people you could be dating instead of me, I sometimes really ask myself if you’re not blind or something. But I’m happy. Because you make me happy. You’re the reason I smile everyday. Would you mind making me smile everyday for the rest of our lives, Cassadee Pope?” he said, showing her the ring.

Cassadee’s face was priceless: shock, happiness, and tears streaming down their face. “Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh my God, yes!” she said, hugging her boyfriend while crying on his chest. “I love you Rian, I really, really love you.” she kissed him and then turned around to eat their food, while talking excitedly about how she wanted their wedding to be, all the people she wanted to invite, where she wanted it to be, everything. Rian sighed. Yes, he was ready to spend the rest of his life trying to make happy the beautiful woman he had beside. He just hoped Cassadee really meant it when she said she loved him. Little did Rian know, Cassadee was thinking exactly the same thing as him.
