Jack's P.O.V.

After what I gave Alex, he fell asleep. I did too, but I woke up before him. I went downstairs for a snack. Some Ruffles chips & a soda. Then I heard a knock on the door. I was going to answer it but realized I was naked. Eh, fuck it. I opened the door & hid my body behind it so that only my head was showing.

"Brendon! Um...what are you doing here? You didn't tell me you were coming over.." I questioned. I was just gonna let this be a lovey-dovey kind of day with Alex. I didn't plan on anyone coming over after Zack left.

"Uh, yea. I was just in the neighborhood & wanted to stop by....why are you hiding behind the door?" Brendon asked. I turned an extreme red & cleared my throat.

"Umm....no reason. Just thought it'd be cool if I left my floating head here instead....." I laughed nervously.

"Oh um...okay. Do you mind if I come in? I need to tell you something."

"Y-yea....could you just wait like two minutes? " I asked.

"Sure."

"Alright um...." I left the door opened just a little & searched the living room for something to cover me up with. Then Brendon opened the door all the way & I panicked, so I just placed the little pillow over my private area.

"Oh...uh...Sorry, I didn't realize you were um...."

We got downstairs & then Brendon finally got up.

"Oh..Alex, I didn't know he was here." Brendon said.

"Yea well I'm here." Alex spat back.

"Alex...don't be rude." I said. "So, what did you want to tell me?"

"Um..I was actually hoping I could talk to you alone about this..." Brendon spoke. I looked at Alex to see if was fine with it & he just nodded & sighed.

"Go ahead. I'm need some fresh air anyway. Been in bed with you all day, babe." Alex said winking at me. I blushed & then gave him a quick kiss before he went outside.

"So you gonna tell me now?" I asked.

"Yea...I think you should break up with Alex." Brendon spoke.

"What?! No, why would I do that?!" I yelled. He made me so angry.

"He's not good for you, Jack! He's only gonna end up hurting you!" Brendon yelled back.

"You're just jealous!" I screamed.

"So what, if I'm jealous?! I wouldn't split you two up if I didn't have a reason!"

"You have no reason!"

"I just told you! Jack, please...I don't want to see you hurt." Brendon said.

"Why do you care so much?! This is my relationship!"

"Are you really that stupid?" Brendon asked. I was offended but he actually looked like he was being serious.

"Why am I stupid?! You're such an asshole!"

"You're too stupid to figure out that I'm in love with you! That's why, Jack! If I'm being an asshole, it's because I'm trying to protect you!" Brendon was really frustrated, tears were streaming down his face. I was shocked. I wanted to be mad, but it doesn't make sense if he's only trying to help. He could be lying to me because he doesn't want us together or he could be telling the truth. I just don't know.

"Protect me from what?..." I said more calm now.

"His lies!" Brendon yelled. He was crying out of anger & frustration. I didn't know what he meant by 'lies' what would Alex be lying to me about anyway?

"Brendon...I can-"

"You can't believe me, right? Because whatever he's gonna tell you, is the truth? Yea why don't you ask his little buddy Rian! Don't come crying to me when you get your heart broken...." Brendon said. He wiped away a few of his tears & then turned around to leave. Then Alex came through the door. Brendon pushed passed him & left out the door.

"Brendon, come back!" I yelled, I almost ran outside but Alex stopped me.

"Jack, why was he crying? What happened?" Alex asked.

"......it was nothing." I replied.

"You sure, babe?" Alex asked.

"Yea, lex. How about we get started on our fun plan for today?" I asked with a smirk. I was a little bummed out right now, but since Alex & I will be at it all day, I'm pretty sure I'll be fine.

"Alright, let's get started." Alex said. He took my hand & guided me upstairs.
