Jack's P.O.V.

"Jack, what was all that? I saw you talking to Alex." Zack asked

"Yea, I kinda fell on him & he got a little angry..."

"Dude, why are you even into him? He's a jerk." Zack replied.

"No he's not..." I said.

"Yea, sure."

The bell rang & we headed to class.

After first period, I heard someone calling my name.

"Jack! Wait!" I heard Alex calling me. Wait...ALEX?!

"Uh...A-alex, what do you uh want?" I was stuttering. Fuck, I'm such a dork.

"Sorry for being rude earlier. You're actually a really nice guy. Pretty attractive too." Alex winked at me & gave me a smirk. I could feel myself blush. I can't believe he's talking to me...& he gave me a compliment.

"Uh..t-thank you." I replied.

"Uh..so I was wondering if you'd wanna go on a date tonight?" A DATE WITH ME?!

"uh...you uh wanna go on a da-date with me? Why? I'm just a loser..." I said. Alex moved my face closer to his.

"W-what are you doing?..." I asked.

"I really want to go on a date with you. Don't leave me hanging. " Alex was making a pouty face. THE GUY I'VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH FOR FOUR YEARS IS ASKING ME ON A DATE.

"Are you serious?..." I asked

"Yes, Jack! I want to go on a date with you." He laughed & I just nodded my head, I couldn't speak, I was too excited.

"So...is that a yes?" Alex asked.

"Y-yes." I smiled. Alex smiled back. God, he's absolutely perfect.

"Alright, then I'll meet you in the park next to the parking lot after school?" Alex asked & I nodded my head. The bell rang & I was so excited I waited for him to leave before I could freak out about it. I couldn't wait to get to my second period, I can see Zack & tell him about it.

School was over now & I went straight to the park, to meet up with Alex. I was really nervous, if I was admitting this. I got to the park & saw that Alex was already there. He got here before I did & I felt bad for making him wait.

"Hey, Jack! Finally made it!" Alex smiled at me & put an arm around me.

"So, you ready to go? We're going to my house to tell my mom I won't be home till' about 10. She'll let me go once she knows it's a date. You can stay till' then right?" Alex asked.

"Yea, my mom doesn't give a shit." I replied. It's true, she really doesn't.

"Alright, let's go!" Alex looked pretty excited. We got into his car & I couldn't help but smile. This is pretty much the best day ever!

After a while of driving we got to his hous & went inside.

"Mom, I'm going on a date." Alex said as we walked into the house.

"Oh, great! Who's the lucky guy?" His mom asked.

"Right here." Alex winked at me & his mom introduced herself. We went upstairs to his room & he got his jacket. Then we went back into his car. I still didn't know where we were going.






"We're here!" Alex yelled.

"We're watching a movie?" I asked.

"Yea, we are. Is that a problem ?" Alex asked.

"No, no. Not at all, just surprised. I expected something else. Not in a bad way though." I said back.

"Well okay, let's go." We got out of the car & went in for the movie. We were watching the conjuring. I really loved scary movies even though they gave me nightmares. Later into the movie a really scary part came up & I jumped up & held onto Alex. I buried my face in his chest & he just held me close & kissed my head.

"It's just a movie, Jack. Don't worry...I got you." Alex whispered. I looked up at him & smiled. Then I looked back at the movie. I moved my head up & away from Alex but he pulled me down & let me rest my head on his shoulder.

"This is a date, Jack. Don't be shy." Alex smiled at me & I actually felt comfortable now. We enjoyed the rest of the movie & afterwards he wanted to take me to McDonald's so we could eat something before heading home. Yea, it wasn't fancy AT ALL. But it's fine for a first date with someone I've never talked to before today. I got an ice cream cause I wasn't all that hungry, besides I'd get fat. Alex got fries, two spicy chickens, & a large soda. He really does like to eat.

"Jack. That's all you wanted?" Alex asked.

"Yea...I don't eat much."

"Alright....at least eat some fries with me?" He asked. I only said yes because it was Alex offering it to me. He held up a bundle of fries & told me to open my mouth. I did & he just shoved them in my mouth all at once, not even in the romantic way like in the movies, like straight up just shoved the into my mouth. I felt like I could have choked but I chewed on them & swallowed it.

"That was funny! You looked like you were gonna choke!" Alex started laughing & laughing. He just wouldn't stop.

"Well yea, you shoved them all into my mouth!" I started laughing too & everyone there was looking at us. We finally calmed down & he threw away his food as he was too full now. We got out & decided to just drive around & get to know each other more.

"So, Jack what kind of music are you into?" Alex asked, putting an arm around me.

"I-uh...you know, stuff like Blink-182, Avenged sevenfold, White chapel. What about you?" I asked.

"Aye, I love those bands!" Alex replied.

"Really?! That's awesome!" I yelled.

We spent the rest of the night driving around town & talking about bands. To anyone else it would have been a boring first date, but this was with Alex, I'm having fun. By the end of the night we were at my house & I really wanted one of those 'romantic first date' kisses like in the movies, but I knew that wasn't possible to get from a guy like Alex, so I got out of his car & started walking.

"Jack, wait!" Alex called out.

"What?" I looked back & he was running to me.

"You forgot your phone." Alex handed my phone back to me & I don't know what came over me but I kissed him. After so many years of waiting, I finally did it.

"Jack..." Alex pulled away from the kiss. Fuck. He'll never talk to me ever again.

"I-I'm sorry.." I whispered. I couldn't even look at him.

"No...it's fine. Uh...Jack....?" Alex lifted my head up & looked at me.

"Y-yea?" I asked.

"Do you like me? Or did you just think it'd be fun to go on this date?"

"Well...I kissed you didn't I? That must mean something." I was surprised by my sudden confidence. I'd never said something like that.

"So you do like me?" Alex asked.

"Yup..." I said.

"Nice...well, I'll see you tomorrow, we should do this again some time." Alex smiled, waved goodbye & got in his car, driving off.

I liked this chapter as much as I disliked it. v.v This is a really boring chapter, I'm sorry.
