You Have My Heart, At Least For The Most Part

Jack's p.o.v

"What did you just say?" I asked, shocked.

"You are Alex's and I crush, Mr. Barakat. Isn't it too obvious?" he laughed.

"That's not okay."

"Who said it was? But it is what it is." He stood up and was about to leave the store, when he turned around and looked at me directly in the eyes. "Don't tell Alex I told you this." and with that, he left me alone.

So, mi two students had a crush on me. They were bestfriends between them, and they had fought about me... Wow.

A few minutes I stood up too. I told the waitress I didn't want my pizza, and left. I walked throught the streets to my department, thinking. What was I suppoused to do? I couldn't bring Alex to my house, knowing he likes me. Well, technically, he doesn't know I know... but that doesn't matter! I can't do it! It will be so awkward and uncomfortable for me.

But it wasn't fair for Alex. He didn't do anything, his friend was. He didn't chose liking me.

I decided to, when I knew the day and hour he was coming, I wouldn't be there. Rian would ask why I would always disappear everytime Alex was there, and I would tell him a stupid escuse that I was seeing someone.

Before I realised, I was at the door of my apartment. I opened it and almost dropped my keys.

"Jack! You're finally here." Rian said, happyly. I glanzed at him and at the boy sitting on the couch alternatively. "I asked Alex to come because I wanted to talk to him about the classes." he smirked evily at me. That motherfucking bastard.

"Y-yeah, that's okay." I said, walking to the kitchen.

"Did you brought the pizza?" Rian shouted from the living room.

"No! They were already close!" I started.

"D-did you f-find Zack?" Alex asked, shyly.

"Kind of. I talked to him. He says he's sorry about everything, but that he wants to have sometime to himself." I walked back to the room to see Alex nodding.

"Did he told you why we fought?" He said, avoiding my gaze and blushing madly. I must admit it was kinda cute.

"No, nothing about it." I said, smiling. "I'll go to sleep. Have a nice talk." I left the room and went to my bed. I don't know if it was my dream or reality, but I swear I heard Alex saying 'yes, I like him'.
