Twenty-one
Time lapse: One month later.
Alex couldn’t care less about what the teacher had just said. He stared at the clock, anxiety and nerves bubbling up inside him. He played with his fingers on his desk, humming a Fall Out Boy’s song he had heard in the morning.
Why was he so impatient? That day he would have a super cute date with Jack, his current boyfriend, also kown as his english teacher. Also, it was their one-month anniversary, and that was kind of a big deal. It was Alex’s longest relationship, considering he hadn’t had a lot of them, just a few; most of them one night stands.
The boy didn’t know if he had to get a gift to Jack, not even what the date consisted about… he just knew the time and place. Eight p.m, at Jack’s house.
Although he didn’t knew, he bought something to Jack. He hoped that the elder would like it, and the idea of him not liking it made him even more nervous. But what Alex didn’t know, was that Jack would love everything that Alex gave him, even if it was a bag full of poop, he would love it. Because Alex gave it to him.
The feelings for each other had develope a lot. Jack adored the younger, he would do anything for him. And what about Alex? His crush had turned into something big. He knew he wasn’t in love with Jack, not yet, at least. It wasn’t a teacher-student relationship anymore. It was something different, something difficult to understand. And if any of them tried to explain it, people would just laugh at them, say they are insane. But that’s because they never felt that way. It wasn’t love, but it wasn’t something less. Not even something more. It was… It was Jack and Alex.
Alexander could hear someone giggle behind him. He sighed, because he knew who they were. Zack and Lisa. They started dating like a week later than Jack and Alex, and ensured that everyone knew about ‘how much they loved each other’. Don’t get him wrong, Alex was really happy for them. Well, for Lisa, at least. He hadn’t talked much to Zack, they just sat together at lunch because of Tay and Lisa, but didn’t even glanze at each other. Alex knew that Zack would probably hate him, and Zack knew that Alex was scared of him, which was kind of true. But he didn’t hate the brown-haired boy, in fact, he loved him to death. As a friend, of course. He wanted to talk to him again, but something told him it wasn’t a good idea.
Alex could see Tay on the other side of the room, playing with her ruler. She was a very, very beautiful girl. If Alex was completely straight, he would totally try to hit on her. But he wasn’t her type, or that’s what he thought.
The bell rang, signalizing the end of the end. The boy jumped, and ran to his locker. He threw his books inside, and dashed to the school’s front door. He found his mom’s car in a matter of seconds, jumping in it. Since he stopped talking to Zack, Alex had to convince his mom to bring him to school, and to fetch him, too.
Isobel grinned as she saw her son sitting on the passanger’s seat. “Hello, honey. How was your day?”
“Hey, mom. You know, the usual. Boring subjects, stupid people, bitches everywhere.” His mom shot him a glare, but he just chuckled. She didn’t like swearing that much, but had to get used by the time his youngest son turned thirteen. “Oh, by the way. Today I will stay at a friend’s house, if that’s okay?”
“A friend? Who?” His mom asked.
“Tay,” Alex replied, whitout thinking. “Um, we have to make a project for… science… together. And we thought about her house because I’ve never seen it before…”
“It’s okay! I like her, anyways. She’s nice.”
“Thanks mom!” Alex said, genuinely happy.
They got to their house in less than twenty minutes, Alex actually glad about that. He had two hours to get ready, and half an hour to get to Jack’s house. Yes, he would probably get there in time.

I kinda like this chapter. Do you like how it's written? I think I like it better than the way I was writing before? I don't know.
