Unicorn Hair

Chapter 10

Whole day I’ve been waiting for it to end. Well, for my working hours to end, because after that I’m still planning on going for a ride. I feel like it would be a date that I’ve been waiting for so long. While fucking those men, or letting them to fuck me, my mind already was somewhere in forest, far away from everyone whom I’ve been longing to get away.

When Jake finally leaves my room, without even looking at me and not saying goodbye to me, I’m a bit angry at him. I just did you fucking favor and you don’t even appreciate that! But I can’t stay angry too long, because he was the last today and now I’m allowed to do whatever I want.

I’m ready in less than fifteen minutes (new record!) and get out of my room. Small wave to Arnold, few steps down the stairs, walk across the lawn, inside the stable, get the horse and off we go. Yeah, I’m really excited for that. It’s really like date to me. A date with horse. You’re pathetic, Alex.

After thirty minutes or more we end up somewhere in the middle of forest near small pond. All around us are big trees and some smaller bushes, some weird, bright red and yellow flowers are growing next to pond and I feel like in a small paradise.

“It’s good place, isn’t it?” I jump off of the horse and let him go over to pond. I lie down in the grass and stare at white, fluffy clouds above me and let my thoughts run back to Jack. What’s so special about him. There might be plenty other guys who might be better looking than he is, with more beautiful eyes, more beautiful laugh and better body. Stop kidding yourself, Alex, you know too well, that there’s no other better looking guy for you. It’s Jack, but you’re just too scared to admit it.

I hear heavy horse’s steps and look up to told my horse to not abandon me here, but it’s not my horse. Mine is peacefully standing few metres from me and eating fresh grass. Steps belong to huge, black horse with longest manes I have ever seen to horse and lightly, you can even say, curly, tall tail. I believe they’re called Friesians. I look up to man on the horse and, oh shit! Why does that keep happening to me!, it has to be Jack. Is he stalking me or something? He looks down at me and huge smile appears on his lips.

“Well, look who decided to be here!” he says sarcastically.

“Is it forbidden for me to be here?” I grin to him, still lying on ground.

“You look hot like that,” he winks and I feel blush creeping up my neck to my cheeks. Damn it, Jack!
He jumps down from his horse and ties his leach to some tree.

“Think he will leave you here?” I watch him as he comes closer to me and sits down next to me.

“No,” he looks over to my horse, still peacefully eating, “just not the friendliest, especially if yours a male too.”

“Mhm,” I keep looking at his beautiful face taking in his features. His nose might be considered a bit too big, but not to him and not in my eyes. Sun played some weird game with his eyes, making them look few shades darker than usual.

“Like what you see?” he caught me staring at him.

“Hey, that’s what I say!” I yelled at him, making my horse to look over.

“Whatever,” he lies down next to me, not braking eye contact.

“You’re beautiful,” he whispers after few minutes of just staring.

“I know,” I send his way my goofiest smile.

“That’s not how you’re supposed to answer when someone compliment’s you,” he laughs at me, bringing his hand to my face to brush some hair out of my eyes. His touch send tingling feeling down my spine and I just stare at him, first time in my life not knowing what to do. He brings his fingers down my check in light touch and stops on my chin. His eyes runs down my eyes to my lips and I just want to scream at him – just do it! Just kiss me! – but I stay silent and wait for his next move. He keeps looking at me gently brushing his thumb over my cheek.

It feels like forever before he finally leans in and brushes his lips over mine in gentle kiss. It’s totally different from those kisses we shared at House. This is more intimidate, it’s just us (if we forget about two horses), it’s just a kiss, no tongues, just lips without wanting something more, just kiss and that’s what makes it special.

I bring my hands up to his head and tangle my fingers in his hair to bring him even closer to me. He lets out long sigh through his nose tickling my face with air. I can’t stop myself from giggling in kiss, before he pulls away and looks at me with questioning look,

“What?”

“That tickled,” I laugh.

“Sure it did,” he pecks my lips before resting his head on my chest, his fingers running circles on my side.

“I’m getting married in two weeks,” he says so quiet it must be considered as whisper.

I wrap my arms around him, pulling him closer to me. That’s the thing I didn’t want to hear. Not today and not here at this little paradise.

“You talked to her?”

“Yeah.”

I wait for him to continue, but he stays silent so I ask, “And?”

“You can say that we had our first fight,” he chuckles.

“She wants to marry you?”

“You just made it sound like I am the worst guy to get married with,” he laughs, but then continues with more serious tone in his voice, “No, but she doesn’t see why this shouldn’t happen. It’s that she doesn’t want to get married now, she’s only eighteen, but she sees me as a good opportunity. I have money and that’s all she cares about.”

He stays silent before continuing, “I told her that, if she will say yes to me at weddings, it will be only her last name and new status in town. I won’t act like husband. I told her that I will keep living my life just the way I’m living it now, that I won’t be home every time she would like me to be, I won’t take care of her as much as she would like to and I told her it’s none of her business to wonder about things I do when I’m not with her, because that’s my business.”

“And she was okay with that?”

“No, that’s why we got in fight,” he chuckles, “she said that she’s going to be my wife and I need to treat her like one. That I need to give her money, take her out sometimes so she can show everyone that she’s really my wife,” he scoffs.

“And you won’t do that?” I run my fingers over his hand.

“Well, no. She will get some money, she need to look like she’s Barakat otherwise whole town will see how bad husband I am. And I’ll just need to take her out sometimes, even if that would be something to do with factory or her father’s restaurant. She won’t get anything else from me.”

That’s when I started to see where he’s going with all – she won’t get anything else from me – thing, “you mean, you won’t even sleep with her?”

“No!” he makes it sound like a four year old.

“Oh, you’re mean!” I laugh at him and let him to sit up, huge smile spread on his lips.

“I get all what I need from you. If we’re talking about bed things,” he grins.

“Still, you’re mean!” I keep laughing at him, “just imagine your first night. She will expect something from you, but you will just leave her there,” just the image of that in my head is too much for me and I’m gone too far and I just can’t stop myself from laughing, images of disappointed and angry women running through my mind.

“Stop laughing, you idiot!” he punches my arm as I roll over, now facing ground, but I just can’t stop.

“Just imagine her face! And later she will meet her friends and they will probably ask something and she’ll need to lie about whole thing, because it would just be too embarrassing to say that her husband left her alone, not even looking at her the moment you two step in your house,” It’s too much to me and I’m running out of air.

“It’s funny to you, but I’m the one who will need to realize it.”

I calm down a bit, enough to bring myself up from the ground and look at Jack. He doesn’t look so happy about my imagines, “Sorry,” I try to hide small smile, still playing on my lips, “but you have to admit that it is pretty funny. Just for a moment forget that it is about you and imagine that,” I laugh again now seeing small smile appearing on Jack’s lips.

“Yeah,” he says with small smile.

I crawl over him and position myself on his lap, his hands fast on my hips to hold me from slipping down.

“Don’t worry about that,” I peck his nose, “like you said to her,” I move my lips to his cheek, “you’ll continue to live your life,” I touch his lips and he’s fast to answer moving his lips along mine and running his tongue over my lips. I let him in, tasting him as he explores my mouth.

He moves his lips down my neck, biting and nibbling and making me shiver under his touch. His hands slips under my shirt and he lies me down, hovering himself over me, his lips still on my neck.

“Seriously? You want to do this here?” I breathe out.

He chuckles and looks up to me, “I guess it’s not the best place,” he gives me fast kiss before getting up and helping me.

We both stand there looking awkwardly at each other, before he says,

“We should go, it’s getting late.”

“Yeah,” I smile at him, but, before walking away, he gently brushes our lips together.

“You’re beautiful,” he winks and walks over to his horse.
