Bite the Bullet

-Jack's Point of View-

My school. I prefer to call it hell. But who doesn't these days? My name is Jack Barakat. If you asked anybody in my school who that was, they would look just as confused as you do right now. I'm a nobody. I tend to sit towards the back of the class so I don't draw attention to myself. Being unknown is better than being fucked with for who I am.
I walk to my first period class; Business. It's a horridly tedious class. Although I'm fairly good at school doesn't mean I like it in the slightest. School does have it's perks. I'm drawn from my thoughts by a loud bang coming from the door being closed. Looking to my right I see Alex Gaskarth caption of the football and baseball team come strutting in with his followers. The girls swooned over him while the boys envied him. I was with the girls on the topic. In case you haven't guessed yet, I'm gay. Although I didn't know Alex, personally I can admit that he is a god among gods in the looks category.
They all go to their sets as the teacher begins her lesson. I look at Alex out if the corner of my eye.
He looks my way, catching me staring, "Hey kid what's your name?"
I look at him dumbfounded. I can't seem to find my voice. It's as if he had ripped my tongue out through my teeth with those 5 words. I look back at him with a emotionless look.
"Are you gonna talk or just gonna look at me like you're fucking stupid?" Alex sneers.
Well fuck him too, I just turn away. I feel his eyes burning into the side of my face but I resist the urge to turn and look. The bell rings and I hurry to pack my things and leave. As I reach the door I feel someone push me from behind. As I fall to the floor, I felt my nose crack and blood begins to run out.
"Answer me next time I talk to you fag" is the last thing I hear before four pairs of feet walk away from me.
I guess looks are deceiving. Just because you have the looks of an angel doesn't mean you can't be the worlds largest dick.
I wish I would have realized that this incident would be the reason I was no longer able to go unnoticed in my school.
