I'll Keep A Secret If You Keep Me Guessing
Chapter Thirty-four
Jack's p.o.v
It was the second time in a week that I woke up without knowing where I was. My head hurt like a bitch, and I felt something moving inside my stomach. I needed to throw up. But, where was the toilette?
I was about to stand up when I felt a body pressed up against me. I glanzed at it and that was when it hit me. All the memories from the night before came flooding back before I could stop them. Alex's friend house. Party. Beer. Alex. Girl. Kiss? Kiss. Jealousy. Drinking. And right there they stopped, whatever was next, it was just a blur for me.
"Did I do something stupid last night?" I asked, mostly to myself, because I was sure that the person beside me wouldn't answer.
"Define stupid," mumbled Alex. Oh, I was wrong. He would answer. "If you think it's stupid to drink more than four beers the first time you do so... Then, yeah, you did." I chuckled, but Alex's mouth was a thin line.
"Did I annoy you?" Alex smirked and shook his head, but it vanished as soon as it appeared.
"You did some weird shit, but you didn't annoy me."
"What did I do?" I asked. I could imagine myself running naked in the backyard, or something like that. Just like in the movies. I turned so I could face Alex, who was trying to avoid making eye contact with me, and was blushing a bit. Oh my God, did we... "Did we fuck?" I blurted out. Alex opened his eyes widely, and started coughing.
"No! No, we... No, Jack!" His face turned red. Oow.
"Then what did I do?"
"I won't tell you."
"Why? I did it! I think I have twhe right to know!"
"No, you don't!" Alex grabbed his phone, ignoring me. Then he sighed. "We have to go home. My mom is worried." He stood up and headed out of the room. I tried to copy his actions, but failed. My head was going to kill me, and I was about to throw up. My legs were shaking, and I couldn't see clearly. What was happening? "That is called hangover, my friend. You'll have to get used to it if you want to drink ever again." Alex came back to me and put his hand on my shoulder. "Let's go home and get you a painkiller."
