Who Said It Was Gonna Be Easy?

When vic got there, I stepped outside to talk to him. He gave me a kiss then rested his forehead on mine.

"what did you want to talk about?"

"Jack's here"

"ok, so why do you want me?"

"he explained everything. It wasn't his fault. He didn't want to kiss rian, Rian made him"

"lex, I-"

"he asked me to take him back"

"and what did you say?"

"that I had to speak to you"

"it's okay, lex. I understand. I'll always be here for you. Don't let me get in the way. You're my best friend and it was amazing that we got to be something more than that for a while, but you love jack, I can see it in your eyes. You love jack more than anything and, even if we did fall in love one day, I don't think it would have even come close to how much you love jack. You need to go back in there and kiss him and never let him go. If he hurts you, I'll be here for you again but I honestly don't think he will. Don't worry about me, I knew something like this would happen sooner or later. We had fun, right?"

"right...yeah..I'm sorry, vic"

"don't apologise for being in love. Never do that. I get it, it's okay" he said before throwing his arms around me and pulling me into a tight hug.

"thank you so much"

"no problem. Jacks a lucky guy. Now, go on. Go back to him" he smiled as he twirled me round and pushed me back on the direction of the door.


"oh and Alex?"

"yeah?"

"I know your noises are beautiful but for gods sake try not to wake the neighbours, it's 4am"

"vic!"

"use protection!" he called to me as he got in his car.

"asshole" I laughed. He simply started the engine, flipped me off with a grin and drove away.

"jack, baby..wake up..we need to talk" I lay down next to him.

"hmm? Alex?"

"yeah. We need to talk"

"okay"

"I just spoke to vic. He told me to take you back. He said he knew it would happen eventually and that he's okay with it"

"you're taking me back?"

"yeah"

"I love you so much" he said as he burst into tears.

"don't cry, shh, I love you too" I kissed him softly.

"jack?"

"yeah?"

"will you tell me about rian?"

"yeah um well we dated for over a year and we were practically living together- I stayed at his house and his parents were never in. Our relationship was great at first and I fell for him pretty hard but then behind closed doors things started getting really bad. We first met when I was doing my teacher training and the only reason I got away was because he moved away. The area held some really bad memories for me and so my parents helped me get a job in a different area and move away. I didn't know I was practically following rian here. He hadn't made an effort to contact me or talk to me about us until I had to speak to him about beating you up. Then it started again. He went back home with me and it was like things had changed back to how they were. He hurt me again and made me do things and tonight when I tried to make him leave..he stabbed me in the leg..I didn't know what to do. He had my keys so I just walked here"

"did he burn you again?"

"yes"

"did he make you have sex with him?" I asked fearfully, my mouth dry. My eyes met Jack's and he nodded.

"jack...you should ring the police"

"I can't because then they'll look at CCTV for my classroom and find all the bits of us together. I'll lose you and I'll lose my job. My job I can lose, but not you. I can't lose you"

"okay, okay. I wish it didn't have to be like this"

"me too"

"are you feeling ok? You're not in pain or anything?"

"a little"

"I'll go and get you some painkillers"

"no, no, just distract me"

"I can do that" I murmured before kissing him softly.

I'm not sure how many more chapters of this there are going o be left now but I know it'll most likely be drawing to a close soon!:(


BUT I've had an idea for a sequel, would anybody read it?:)
