The Unknown Writers Contest SPOTS CLOSED

Hey guys it's Sarah's Butterflies also known as Tessa or Ahri and JalexUnicorn also known as Jenna here!

Now before I get started (since it's Tessa writing up this right now), I need to make an important announcement before I say anything else.

This is a contest for people who have NEVER won a contest here on this site, meaning if you won one before hand you may NOT enter. Yes if you have entered one but didn't win, you CAN enter. I'm saying this because this is for the girls and boys who haven't won before and to give them a chance to shine bright and give them something to hope for.

Now to the rules and questions:

What can I write for this contest?
Anything you like, if it's a songfic, then sure! If it's just a random short story about All Time Low going to a hockey game, then why not? We're letting this be really loose so your talent can shine however it may. There is no theme so just go wild with your work and let the real you shine through. Note we really don't want you to ship yourself with one of the members with All Time Low, me personally I'd rather not read it as I more than likely don't know you so I'd have to be biased on your personality just by the fanfiction you're writing. The only rule we have is that is MUST be All Time Low related. Smut is accepted.
Plot stealing is banned and if anyone of you go stealing plots, I will happily take you out of the contest and not let you enter any contest that I happen to make, I'm not sure about Jenna but on my terms I won't allow you to do so.

How do I enter?
First you must comment saying something along the lines of "Can I enter?" or just plain old "Enter Me" then you must message Jenna and I both in a private message telling us what you're doing and how you think it will be planned out. If you want to do a songfic, tell us what song you're doing. If you're doing something where ATL is going to the hockey game, then let us know that so we know what to expect.
Also we may message you about the story as well so if we get to you on what you're doing, then don't worry about doing it on your own.

How long should my one shot be if I'm writing one?
Maximum is 10,000 words, there is such thing as too many. Note this will not affect you in the final score of judging, you could have 200 just as long as you have a nice plotline to it.

How long should my short story be if I'm writing one?
It should be no more than 10 chapters, but they must all be posted on the due date.

Can I do an All Time Low song if I choose to do a song-fic?
No, go outside of the box and use a song you may have never heard of before. There's this guy named Charlie Puth on YouTube who does his own music sometimes, go outside the box and find people that most people haven't done before. Yes you can use a song you love but it can't be ATL and we will let you know if that song by *insert artist here* has been taking by somebody already. The song you choose is first come, first serve.

When are we closing spots for entries?
We will not allow anyone enter by January 14th 2014, giving you a little less than two weeks to enter.

When must my fanfiction be up?
Please post by January 31st. Any entries posted before that time will be disqualified and not be entered or judged by Jenna and I.

How many people can enter?
10 people, we will close entries once we hit ten or by our deadline for entering.

What do I put for my entry?
Please put ENTRY # with whatever number we give you when it's posting time

*New note* Prizes will be mentioned at the end of the contest, let's just say Jenna and I have something really special up our sleeves. Don't panic though, it's all good in the hood (ie) news.
