Do it for me

It had been a few weeks since I got assigned to the "Romeo and Juliet" play with Zack.

We had practiced a few times,the kissing,no.Of course not.

Jack wouldn't have it.Zack knew it couldn't happen.

I stared at the lines on the paper,glancing at Zack who walked out of the kitchen.

"I made us some popcorn and got 2 cups of apple juice.One for you," he smiled,putting it down on the table,"and one for me." He put the other on the table and smiled at me.

We were sitting in his living room,reading over the play.Then we should be good to act it out in class.

He stared at me and I bit my lip.

"We need to talk about the uh...our kiss."

I shrugged."We'll just wing it."

Zack sighed."I meant the other kiss."

I looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

Zack sighed,turning towards me.

I stared at the ground.The thing I don't want to talk about.

"Look,Del.I didn't mean to kiss you..It was just..I wanted to in that moment."

I stared at him.

"It didn't mean anything is what i'm getting to.I just want to be your friend,Delilah..Let me have that."

I nodded at him.

He smiled."So..are we okay?"

I bit my lip,nodding."Yes..and in class,it'll be a small peck."

Zack nodded."Of course.." He smiled and stared back down at the paper with the lines on it.

"The party has arrived!" I heard Jack's voice screaming.

Zack and I looked over,looking at Jack who was walking in the door.

I laughed quietly."What?"

Jack grinned."We're having a party tonight,duh!"

I saw Alex,Rian,Matt,and a bunch of random people walk in.

Zack groaned."JACK!"

Jack grinned."What? It's just some people here for a little get together."

Zack groaned."Dude!"

Alex chuckled,slapping Zack's back."Chill out,man."

Zack mimicked him and whined."You're glad my mom is gone for the weekend,idiots."

I watched Alex and Jack give a sly grin and I rolled my eyes.

Jack walked over to me,giving me a soft kiss on my lips."Are you gonna help us set up the coolers?"

I laughed quietly."I guess...but no drinks for me."

Jack whined."Whatever! You can just baby sit me,darling." He grinned and walked to the kitchen,grabbing my hands.
