"We're here,Lilah."

All I heard was my moms voice drone on and on the whole ride here.To Baltimore.Out of all places, she picked here.I looked around at all of the town houses and people sitting outside,talking,smoking,listening to music.I bit my chapped pink lips and sighed,staring at my mom.

"Welcome to hell,mom." I rolled my eyes and unbuckled my seatbelt,opening the car door.I climbed out of my seat and looked around at my new house for however many years we'd leave here.

"Isn't it beautiful?" My mom giggled,wrapping her arms around me.

I bit my lip,shrugging."I'm going to explore a little bit.."

My mom sighed and patted my head softly."Whatever.I'll carry the boxes inside." She gave me a frown,walking to the trunk of the car.

Sure, I felt bad not helping her, but I didn't want to move here in the first place.Yes,we had painful memories back in Arizona,but it was home.We had so many Christmas' there, and I got my first boyfriend and my first kiss.I frowned at the thought of leaving home for good and looked around,starting to walk as I shoved my hands in the pockets of my black hoodie.I looked around and saw a huge music store,grinning to myself.The sign on the building said,'The Sound Garden.' I grinned to myself and stepped inside,looking around as the worker there waved.I gave him a smile and walked down the alternative music section.I started looking in the different sections and bit my lip softly as I looked up to see a group of guys walking in.They started chatting with the worker I had just smiled at.

I grabbed the little sign that said 'Blink 182' and walked over to the worker,waiting for the group of guys to stop talking."Uh..Do you happen to have anymore of these CD's? There's none left." I frowned and the group of guys started to crack up laughing.

I raised an eyebrow and the one with skunk hair looked at me.

"We've probably bought them all!" He gave a chuckle and I bit my lip.

"Oh..okay." I frowned and walked back over to the section as one of the guys ran over to me.I looked up at him and he was pretty cute.He had gorgeous hazel/green eyes,brown hair,and he had some nice muscles to add to it.I smiled at him as he spoke up,but still quietly.

"Um..I have a bunch of their CD's..we can meet up sometime and I could burn them for you if you want." He gave me the cutest nervous smile and I nodded.

"Okay..That'd be awesome..Where do you live?" Was it weird asking that? Eh...I guess not.

He smiled at me."2 blocks down."

I gave him a slight smile."Really? I just moved there.."

He grinned."Cool..Um..I guess we'll see eachother in school?"

I nodded and ran my fingers in my brown,curly hair."Okay..That's good." I grinned,waving to him as he stuffed his hands in his pockets,his friends screaming at him to hurry up."I'll see you later then."

He smiled and walked off towards his friends."Wait,I-" I frowned as they had left and I bit my lip,walking to the worker."What's his name?"

The worker smiled at me."Zack.Zack Merrick."
