Undead Ahead

Everyday more and more of the undead surrounded our house that was once safe and everyday a team of us would go out and take care of them but I knew that this wasn't going to last much longer. The herds would only continue to get bigger and bigger until we couldn't take them out without surely losing some of our own in the process. I knew we needed to move soon but Alex had only just settled in here after months of being on the road and I really couldn't bare to move him yet again but I had to and I had to do it soon if I wanted to keep him safe in my arms like he was now. We had grown incredibly close since the kiss we shared a few days ago and I couldn't lose him now or any time in the near future.

Alex began to stir gently as I tried to unwrap my arms from around him so I could speak to Zack and Rian about the idea that we need to move soon.

'You trying to sneak off?' Alex said sleepily as he tightened his grip around me making it impossible for me to move.

'Of course I'm not, I just need to speak to Rian and Zack and then I'll be right back' I defended trying to get free from Alex's grip whilst praying that he won't ask me why I need to speak with them. I don't know how Alex is going to react about the news we need to leave and I'd rather not just drop it on him now.

'Is something wrong?' He asked innocently turning the full force of his beautiful eyes on me in a way that made my heart melt and nearly spill the beans but I regained myself in enough time to wriggle from his arms and say that everything was fine before practically running from the room before he could question me more. I don't want to lie to him but I just need to find the best time to tell him and that just wasn't it.

'Rian! Zack!' I hollered as I walked into the room they shared watching as Rian jumped out of the bed he was conveniently snuggled up in with Zack.

'Ri-ri, where you going? I want to snuggle baby' A sleepy Zack mumbled as Rian blushed furiously and shoke him fully awake. The minute he noticed my presence he turned the same shade of red as Rian.

'So guys, since when did you two start shacking up?' I said with a wink as I sat on Rians unslept in bed.

'Uhmm, since a few weeks ago' Rian said as he crawled back into bed with Zack who pressed a gentle kiss to his neck.

'It just kinda happened really' Zack added with a giggle. 'Anyway Barakat, what the fuck are you doing in here this early?'

'You guys are sooo cute' I mused before turning serious and getting to the point of me being here in this room full of gay cuteness. 'I'm here to talk to yous both about something nobody is going to like but is going to be essential within the next few weeks.. We're going to need to move from here and find somewhere else. It's not safe here anymore'

'I told you that like a week ago' Rian smirked, with an I told you so look on his face.

'Yeah yeah whatever Ri. Thing is though that I don't want to move everyone without a plan of action or a place to go. Keeping everyone alive here is key and we don't have a lot of time to plan so we need to get our asses into gear and plan.' I said as I pulled a hand through my tangled hair.

'We will think of something Jack, don't worry yet. We still have a bit of time.' Zack assured me whilst Rian nodded and stared at Zack with puppy dog eyes. These guys were going to make me sick if I didn't leave soon so I stood up and headed to the door.

'Hey Jack!' Rians voice called. 'Can you not tell everyone about Zack and I, we want to do it ourselves'

'Of course I won't, guys. But you need to do the same for me. Keep out planning from Alex as much as you can. He's been through so much without the worry of having to move again'

They both nodded in understanding and went back to being adorable as I left the room only to run into an unhappy Alex who had clearly heard everything.

Oh boy.

I know I haven't updated this in ages but I want to start again so bare with me for a few crappy chapters before I get it to a place I wanna write from.
