No one ever picked Jack up, he got to school at 7;23am. He had to wait until 7:30 when the security door clicked open. He had missed the 7:20 trasaction between the teachers. He had been walking so he wasn't cold anymore. He couldn't even feel his feet, so standing outside for another eight minutes wouldn't hurt anything. The school had addapted a new security system. The doors were only open at ten minute intervals before school started. It was a new protection to keep out introdours.

Jack was sitting in a bench outside the school. He brushed the snow off the bench and sat down and waited for someone to either walk up to the bench to sit with him, or for the doors to open. A face walked up that Jack didn't want to see. It wasn't Alex. It was Holly.

"Heya Jacky! You look frozen, what happened to you?" She asked touching his nose and stroking the hair out of his eyes. "Don't cover your eyes. They're too pretty for you to cover."

"Oh nothing really major. It was just an accident. I like my eyes covered. It brings mystery, and suspense, like a Stephen King novel. I'm really cold, my car wouldn't start today and I have no money, so I had to walk." Jack semi-lied. "WHY WON'T THESE GODDAMN DOORS OPEN?!" He yelled and started crying.

"J-Jacky... You okay?"

"Yeah Holly I'm fine just an already bad day."

"Once we get inside I'll buy you a soda or something. Jack I know I'm a little crazy sometimes, but I guess I still have the biggest crush on you since I met you when we were younger."

"It's okay Holly."

"Come on kids, the doors are open for all of you." The teacher spoke.

Jack and Holly walked in and Holly went to the soda machine and Jack followed behind her.

"Dr. Pepper right Jacky?"

"Yeah Hollz."

"Come on Jack" She said handing Jacks soda to him. "Let's sit down."

Jack sat at the round table in the commons away from the all the other people. Holly sat down looked at him with deep eyes, took his and spoke two words.

"I'm sorry"
