Alex's POV:
"How are we gonna do this?," Rian asks. "Burn down the house," I say flatly. I was feeling better with each second that went by. I finally had energy to stand up and not feel like I wanted to puke my guts out. And my fever went away. And by the looks of it, Rian looked back to normal.

Rian stares up at us in horror. "No. I won't do it." "Rian you have to." "But why do I have to burn down the house!?" "Rian its where her spirit rests. And with how strong she's been getting, the energy is going to be a lot stronger and darker there. And it can only continue to rise. If we don't do this, we might not be able to stop her." "Rian, I know thats where you two first became a couple, but the Cassadee you knew and loved isn't there anymore. The real part of Cassadee might have passed on, or it could be trapped somewhere. We don't know. But I do know the only way to stop her is to burn that house. Burn the house. Burn her."

Rian looks down at the floor, "okay. Lets do it."

We stop at multiple stores to get lighter fluid, we didn't want to buy a bunch just at one shop, we would be suspected of what we have planned. We already had matches at the apartment and some lighters, so all we needed was the lighter fluid.

Now we were parked a good few miles away from the house in the woods. It was pitch black out, the only lights were coming from our cars.

Rian was sitting in his car with the window down, staring at the steering wheel. "Do you know what you have to do Rian," Zack asks. Rian nods, "I distract her for as long as I can while you guys put lighter fluid on the outside of the house. Once you do that, I'll run out and you guys light it up." "And with how old the house is, its going to be easy."

I place a gentle hand on Rian's shoulder, "we'll be right behind you. Don't worry. Your not going into this alone."

Rian's POV:
I look down at Alex's hand and stare at the ring. The same ring she had me find to be connected to her. I now hate that ring. And I hate myself for everything that took place.

"I'll do my best." Alex nods and takes his hand away. I roll up the window and turn on the car. I see the guys get into the other car behind me and I drive off to the house.

I had to force myself to remember the things that Cassadee has done to everyone. Including me. She used me to hurt them. The Cassadee... the Cassadee I knew wouldn't do that. I grip the steering wheel and kept driving at a slow pace. The Cassadee I knew wouldn't try to kill someone. The Cassadee I knew wouldn't tell me lies so she can get whatever she wants.

I park the car a good distance away from the house so when we set the house on fire, the flames wouldn't get to the car. I get out and look up at the house. Something about it was different. It felt darker.

I walked up to the house, up the front steps, and slowly open the door. "Cassadee?," I say out loud. It was darker and colder in the house now. "Rian, Rian is that you?" I hear her voice around me. "Yes. Its me." "Come see me Rian, hurry."

I run up the stairs and down the hall to the room. I open the door and see Cassadee standing in the middle of the room. "Cassadee, whats wrong?" "There's.. something here that wants to destroy me. Its been haunting me since you left. It won't leave me alone." I stare at her and she stares at the floor. "Its why I been doing those things Rian. Its making me do them. I never wanted to hurt anyone." She looks up at me, hurt on her face. I didn't believe a single word she said.

"You have to believe me Rian. I would never-" "Your lying Cassadee." "What? No I'm not." "I know you are. I know that was you doing all of those things. I know this because your the one who told me to go look for the ring. And the last night I was here, a voice told me to get out and that I been warned. Its all you. I know it is." She looked angry now.

"Do you want to know why I'm taking revenge Rian?" "Why?" She disappears and then she appeared in front of my face. "Because its your fault I'm like this." She disappears and I look around, trying to hear for something. Then there was a ear pericing scream that filled the room.

I scream and fall onto the wooden floor in the ancient room. I hold my head tight, her piercing scream filling my mind.

"YOU DID THIS TO ME RIAN!!!," she screams. I cry and keep my eyes shut tight, trying to forget the pain going on in my mind. "WHY CASSADEE!! WHY CASSADEE!!," I yell.

She screams again, loud enough to break glass. I scream in pain again and soon it was quiet. I slowly open my eyes and look around the empty room, breathing heavy. I didn't realize how much I was sweating.

I get up and run out of the room, down the hall, and down the stairs. The wood creaked below me as I ran, before I could reach the open front door, it slammed closed and locked. I unlocked the door and tried to open it but it wouldn't open. I hear her chilling laughter flow through the house and the air got cold.

I let go of the door and look around, but I was to stupid to think that she'll show herself to me. She's never been this strong before. She's never been this angry.

"Rian....," she sings. "Rian... come find me...," she sings more. She didn't sound like her old self, she sounded evil.
