Cameron’s POV

I helped him to the bathroom and told him to sit down.
“I’m so sorry, she’s just mean when she’s at a party.”
“It’s okay.” His voice was nasally and I knew she’d hit him good. I took the washcloth and put it to his nose and he screamed.
“Sorry!” I jumped back but he kept his hand on mine to keep me from moving.
“Just leave it.” I stood back near him and held it there.
“I’m so sorry. River’s so perfect with her parties. She hates uninvited guests.” You could hear the bass of the party below us.
“Are all your parties like this?”
“Invitation only? Sometimes. Only when River feels like kicking out a few kids.” I laughed. He smiled. “Any better?”
“I’m scared to look. She had a hard punch.” I pulled away the rag.
“Nope, you’re all good.”
“Thanks.” He stood up and looked at himself in the mirror. “As ugly as always!” He cheered.
“I don’t think you’re ugly.” I blurted out. He smiled at me.
“I think you look amazing in that dress. Just saying.”
“Thanks…” I smiled at him, earning a little boost of confidence from his compliment. “I’m Cameron.”
“I’m Jack,” He said. “Why does River call you Cami?”
“She knows it gets on my nerves.” I smiled. “She’s the only one who does though.”
“A lot of kids call you Cami you don’t know.”
“Really?”
“Yep. You know these parties are called Rivami parties.”
“That I knew.” I laughed. “Easier than Rivameron.”
“That it is.” I leaned on the counter. “I like your hair…it’s a lot like mine.” He brushed it back and behind my ear.
“I like your hair…” I ran a hand through the mixed matched skunk hair. “Skunky.” He laughed.
“Thanks…” His hand wrapped around my neck and pulled me to kiss him. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him back. He pulled back slowly and looked at me.
“Maybe we should get back to the party…”
“Yea.” He smiled small and took my hand, lacing our fingers together. We left the bathroom and quickly made it back down to the party. I asked Juli for a drink and she quickly handed over a Brandy mix and I left with Jack.
We began dancing, to what I think was a bad remix of Marilyn Monroe by Nicki Minaj but we still danced.
My hips moved easily to the beat of the song and Jack was enjoying watching me dance with a girl I’d never seen in my life before. I’d never once wanted to dance with a girl the way I was, but the Brandy was truly getting to me. For once. But eventually, Jack got bored of watching. He came up behind me and grabbed my hips tightly in his hands. I let out a yelp and he pulled my hips back against his. The girl eventually got bored herself, of not having a partner to really dance with, and left to find a drink and a date. But me and Jack danced. He moved my hips and I moved against him.
“You know, I don’t do this too often.” I whispered into his ear, glad he could hear me.
“Well, I’m honored.” He chuckled into my ear. I shivered at his tone and jerked my hips to the side, as River and I were famous for doing. He groaned deep into my ear and pulled me harder against him.
I had no idea where my drink went but I was happy with myself. So we kept dancing. To any song that came on, even those few rock songs I let in. River was a huge rock/punk pop/scremo fan. Not that I wasn’t too, but at parties, you need songs with huge bass. We always argued about it.
Jack pulled my head back and kissed me hard. I let out a groan and pulled away. I turned to face him and kissed him again. I felt hands at the hem of my dress and Jack pulled down roughly.
“Mine.” He wrapped one arm around my waist and forced me up with his other. I wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. He stepped back until he fell on the stairs and I laughed as he held himself up with one hand and kept his other secure around my waist. I moved onto his lap more, actually straddling him, and kissed him harder. He groaned and pulled me closer, if possible.
“My room-” He kissed me again. “It’s on the right.”
“Mine or yours?”
“Mine.” I breathed out as he trailed my neck with kisses. My head fell back and he placed an open mouth kiss on the hollow of my neck.
“Now.” He growled. He held my waist tightly and stood up with all his strength. He walked backwards up the stairs and successfully made it to my room. He kicked the door shut and kissed me again. But this time, it was sweet.
He held my face and began walking forward, making me walk back. My knees finally hit the bed and I fell back and sat on the edge. His hand traced the side of my face and he fell to his knees and kissed me again. My eyes closed again and I slid back on the bed. He followed me, kicking off his shoes and I kicked off mine.
“Up.” His voice was quiet and I sat up and he pulled me to my knees. I felt his hand at the zipper of my dress. He slowly pulled it down and I began unbuttoning his shirt. He made it to the end of the zipper and I pushed the shirt off his shoulders. He pulled my one strap off and pulled the dress up from the bottom. My hands came over my head and Jack tossed the dress behind him. He wrapped an arm around me and kissed me again. I leaned back and he followed me back. He straddled my hips and kissed me sweeter. My hands laced in his hair and I moaned into the kiss, feeling his jean-clad member against me.

Jack’s POV

River might have had a hard punch, but damn Cameron’s was harder and she didn’t even hit me. And the fact that she was grinding on me was getting me higher than drugs. I could only hold her hips so close. The thought that I might get to have her tonight made me more excited.
But something about her told me to be gentle. Something said don’t rush her. She’s not River and I’m not Alex. Cause I saw that happening earlier. So I kissed her sweeter than before. She must have liked it. Because next thing I know, I’m pulling her dress off her in her room. I didn’t even know she had a room in River’s house. But they are like sisters so I guess it’s expected. The bass never stopped pounding and Cameron moaned louder. Her hands pulled tightly on my hair and all but begged me to hurry up. Suddenly her hands fell from my hair and to my belt. She fumbled with it and quickly unbuckled it. She kept fumbling and I put my hands on hers.
“Slow down. We’ve got all night.” I whispered to her. She looked at me and kissed me again. My hands reached behind her back and she let me unclasp her bra.

I groaned. A slam woke me up but the light blinded me. I covered my face with the blanket I was under. It could not have been that early. I didn’t bother searching for my phone because I knew it would be in my jeans and I quite didn’t know where they were. I heard loud giggling from downstairs and groaned again, turning over and buried my face under Cameron’s pillow. I glanced up at a clock and saw it was eight in the morning. I groaned and buried my head again before falling back asleep.

Cameron’s POV

“When you going home?”
“Dunno, mom and dad are gone again.” I shrugged at River.
“What are you gonna do about loverboy up in your room?”
“Wake him up. Take him home. Not kick him out like you.”
“I don’t like that kid. He was just a really really good lay.” She laughed.
“You’re not even a whore but you’re a whore.” I shook my head and put my plate in the sink. “I’ll be back down in a bit.”
“Round two!” I laughed as I went to my room.
I knocked quietly before opening my door and closing it behind me. I went over to Jack and sat beside him.
“Jack…Jack wake up…” I shook him calmly. “Jack, you’ve gotta wake up…” He moaned and looked at me out of one eye.
“You’re lucky you’re beautiful.” He groaned. He sat up and looked at me. Then down at himself. “I should get dressed.”
“Probably.” I giggled. He sighed and stood up. He went around my room, collecting his things which all seemed to be in the same general area.
“That’s never happened before.”
“What?” I turned to him.
“All of my clothes in the same general area.” I giggled.
“Well, you told me to slow down.” He smiled at me.
“I recall.”
“Would you like me to take you home?”
“I’ll get there somehow.”
“I can give you a ride. It’s not hard.”
“If you insist.”
“I do.”
“Alright then.” He slipped his hand into mine and I lead him downstairs.
As I passed the kitchen, I saw something. He followed me in and I looked at the note.

Figured loverboy would want something to eat before stalking home to his friends.

I shook my head at her.
“It’s for you.”
“Aw…she’s so nice…” He remarked, seeming to know how my best friend was.
“Yea, she’s a doll.” He chuckled at me and sat down. We spoke quietly as he ate. How he had gone to the same school that me and River were still attending and that he was part of a band that was well known.
“Are your fans going to eat me alive?”
“Only if they find out. And since I’m no One Direction, it won’t be a scandal.” He chuckled, finishing the pancakes.
“Were those poisoned?”
“I can’t answer that honestly.”
“Least it was a good last meal and a beautiful last sight.” I turned my head blushing and he smiled crooked at me.
“Come on. We should get you home.” I took his hand again and led him outside to my Corvette.
“Lovely lady…damn this is nice.”
“She’s a beaut. I’ll say. I love my Cass.”
“Her name’s Cass?”
“Yup.” We got in and I drove out of River’s gates.

“Right here.” He pointed to the house and I slowly pulled over to the curb.
“Thanks, Cami.”
“You’re welcome, Jack.” He got out, but turned back around.
“Hold on.” He kissed me. “Do you wanna go out Friday?”
“Yea…that’d be nice.” He grinned.
“Here. Text me.” He kissed my cheek and got out. He went up to the house and knocked frantically before the door opened and he rushed in. I started the Vet again and drove off.
I pulled back into River’s driveway gates and she was laying on the stairs.
“What are you doing?”
“Waiting for my pet to arrive.”
“Derren?”
“You.” I rolled my eyes and walked past her. She followed me in and fell on the couch.
“What are our plans today, Pet?”
“I’d rather you call me Cami.”
“Anyway!”
“I’m going home, so that I can finish my Reading Guide and IDs so I can pass my AP quiz, and you are going to entertain yourself.”
“Something I think you want to watch the world burn. Literally.”
“No one in their right mind would give you the power of fire.”
“You did one time.”
“Again, another mistake of fifteen.”
“I wouldn’t say getting drunk was a mistake.”
“You actually got me there, it was pretty funny.”
“For which of us?” We laughed.
“I’ll come back over when I’m done with the work, alright? In the meantime, don’t burn anymore bridges.” She smiled at me and I hugged her before leaving to my car.


I was bored and tired of doing AP homework and my head was lolling back, hanging over the back of my chair. I kicked my feet up on the desk in front of me and picked up my phone, the number of Jack still sitting on the top of it. I typed in his number and sent a quick text.
Hey
I set my phone down and turned to my TV for a while. And my phone vibrated.
Who is this?
I chuckled at myself and replied.
Cameron.
Leahy? I already have your number saved.
Oh, Cami.
An added emoji had a nervous face and I smiled.
Yea, it’s Cami.
Good, cause I was about to call Cameron
Another emoji had a laughing face.

“Cameron! Oh, Cameron, where art thou Cameron!?” I rolled my eyes and got up and opened my bedroom door.
“What the fuck are you doing?”
“Looking for you.”
“I tried to entertain myself. I really did…but you see, what had happened was I-”
“I don’t want to know. I can’t finish my IDs, what do you want to do?”
“I was going to come ask you!”
“You’re pointless.” She stuck her tongue out at me. “Come on, let’s go to Georgetown…get a few cupcakes and some new shoes.”
“I was thinking clothes…but shoes can work too!” I grabbed my jacket before following her out the door.
“How about Starbucks first?”

Notes

Sadly this is mostly a filler, except for the first part. Which is weird because it's only the beginning of the story. So yea.
