Whiskey Princess, Drink Me Under, Pull Me In

Chapter 1. The Party Downtown

Alex Gaskarth.

“Did you hear about that party in downtown, man?”
“What?” Alex looked up at his best friend. “What?”
“The party in downtown…are you that stupid?” Jack smacked him across the head and sighed.
“What party downtown?”
“I’m gonna kill you.”
“The Rivami party.”
“Rivami?”
“I should kill you.” Rian shoved him away.
“River McAlston and Cameron Scott.”
“Oh! No, I didn’t hear about it.” He looked back at his magazine.
“Are you kidding me!?”
“What are you yelling about, Jack?”
“Are we going or not!?”
“When is it?”
Tonight!?
“Yea! Whatever!”
“What’s wrong with you?”
“I’m bored.”
“Then why aren’t you as happy as me to find a party tonight!?”
“Because we’re in our twenties. We’re not teenagers anymore.”
“We still can party…”
“What time is the party?” Jack smirked wildly.

We pulled up to the house. Negative. House did this place no justice. It looked like a small palace. I could hear the music from outside and it made me just a little excited.
“I already have a boner.” Jack giggled.
“Are you…fucking moron.” Zack followed Rian, led by Jack. I followed behind them, locking my Mercedes and stuffing the keys on my Raven’s lanyard in my pocket.
“Ready to get wasted, brother!?” Jack jumped on me and hung around my neck. I laughed and held him up.
“Totally bro.”
“And laid?” Zack fist bumped me and Rian shook his head.
“Poor, Ri. Since Cass isn’t hear, someone can’t get laid!” Me and Jack laughed and mocked him.
“At least I hold Cass.”
“That’s cause you’re in love!” Jack hung his head over my arm and made kiss faces at Rian.
“I could hold a girl. It’s these losers that scare ‘em off.”
“Are you kidding me!? Bitches love Barakitten.” I dropped Jack as we came to the door and he scoffed and ‘dusted’ himself off.
“Fucker.” We entered, no one really noticing the door opening and closing. We easily made our way to the bar where drinks of all kinds were being served. When the bartender, some chick who took to hitting on Zack, asked what we wanted, we just told her whatever she wanted to make us.
Setting a drink in front of all of us, we all took one drink of it and our heads shook in near unison. She giggled loudly and Jack and Rian took another drink with less of a head shake after.
“I’m gonna go fuck a bitch.” Jack muttered to himself.
Cami, come on!” The voice wasn’t high-pitched. It wasn’t deep. But it was beautiful.
“Stop, calling. Me. Cami! My name is Cameron.”
“Cami, seriously? I’ve been calling you Cami since we were twelve.” She chuckled. Everyone, even the bartender, was turned to them. There was a girl standing near the top of the large staircase. There was another girl, with her head poked around the corner looking at everyone.
“I look terrible.”
“Too late. Everyone’s staring at you now.” The girl, with dirty blonde hair laughed and turned her head to face us. “Evening, Maryland!” She waved at them and boys and guys a like wolf whistled at her. She laughed and leaned on her knees. “Wanna see what Cami’s wearing?” Some people said ‘yea’. She worked them like she were the act and they were the crowd. “Good.” She turned and walked back up the stairs and disappeared behind the wall, where you could no longer see Cami.
“God she’s fucking hot…” Jack groaned.
“Are you jacking yourself?” Zack looked down and we laughed.
“Who is that?” I asked Rian.
“River McAlston.” He said. Suddenly a yelp was heard and River walked down the stairs, carrying Cami bride-style. Guys yelled and whistled at them even louder and Jack joined. River set Cami down and smirked at her. And though Cami looked amazing, I couldn’t get over how hot River looked. She wasn’t even wearing a short dress. Cami stood quietly.
“Let the party begin.” River’s voice rose and kids cheered. She took steps down the stairs and Cami followed her down the stairs. River made it to the bar and stood beside Zack, leaning over and snatching a bottle from behind the bar.
“Hello, lovely.” She stood back up and spoke to the bottle. Which was of Brandy. “And hello beautiful.” She smiled at Zack. “I’ve never seen you around before.”
“Not been around before.” She smiled.
“Welcome. Just a little question, do any of you have an invitation?”
“Nope.” Jack said confidently. Her smile faded and she stared blankly at Jack.
“Then I’m going to have to ask you to leave. Now. This was an invitational only party. I’d like to know how you got in.”
“No one was at the door.” Jack smiled, taking another drink.
“Can’t they stay, Riv?” Cami all but pulled on River’s jacket to beg her.
“No. They can’t. Party crashing is my job. Not theirs.” She got in Jack’s face.
“So leave. Before I have you taken away in an ambulance.”
“What?” She punched him and straight walked away. Jack crumpled to the ground holding his face. Cami yelped and fell to his side as me and Rian did.
“I’m so sorry!” She helped him up and told him she’d take him to the bathroom to help him.
“He’s getting laid…lucky fucker.” Zack said, taking another drink.
“I’d lay you.” The bartender muttered.
“But you’re working…” Zack turned to her and they started their conversation.
“And I’m not getting laid and you have a girl…fuck you guys.” I took a drink and walked away into the party scene.

River’s POV

I stood over the party, watching. I doubt those losers actually left cause I punched the skunk head. I had no idea where Cami was either. My hand touched the rail of my stairs and I sighed. I was bored at my own party…what the hell was happening to the world.
“I should get a drink.” I walked down the stairs, ignoring all the practically peasants and going to Juli.
“What’s up, River?”
“I lost my Brandy, got anymore?”
“This bottle.” She handed me the bottle from under the counter.
“God, I love you, Juli.”
“No you don’t.” She shook her head and turned back to a conversation. I took the Brandy and began drinking, wandering my party for a suitable prince.

“You’re a very good dancer.” I slurred quickly.
“You’re a very good dancer.” He whispered back, hush in my ear.
“I think you’re taking this too seriously. Maybe you need some Brandy!” He chuckled but took the drink from me and took a large gulp. “Oh! Not too much, that’s mine.” I told him matter-of-factly. He chuckled and gave it back. He shook his head wildly and swallowed again.
“We should take this upstairs.”
“I’m not that drunk.” I jerked my hips to the opposite side and he groaned deeply into my ear. “You might be though.” I chuckled. He placed his hands on my hips and forced me to move with the beat.
“Has anyone tonight told you you look gorgeous?”
“No. That makes me sad.”
“Well, you’re beautiful.” He drifted his nose along my neck before taking a bite. I yelped and giggled as he kissed my neck. I let my head back onto his shoulder and took my chance to bite down roughly on his neck in return. He let out a gasp and bit down harder.
“This can be a competition or a war, babe.” I told him, biting his earlobe and pulling. He let go of my neck and spun me around. He pulled my hips to his roughly and my hands fell over his shoulders. I gripped the Brandy tightly and smirked at him.
“You look gorgeous.”
“That’s funny…concerning you told me to leave before.”
“Well, I’m drunk.”
“You’re not, that drunk.” He mocked me, thrusting his hips into mine. I gasped and fell onto his shoulders roughly. One of his hands slip down and onto my ass. He grabbed it. I fell harder onto his shoulders and he smirked and chuckled darkly at me. “You sure you’re not drunk, babe?”
I got no words out before he slipped a hand under my dress and grabbed my sex. My legs became of no use to me and they buckled. He smirked and pulled me up.
“Where’s your room?”
“The right…the right wing…” He smirked and hoisted me up. I barely wrapped my legs around his waist and he took to the stairs. Lucky for us, more kids were on the stairs and no one recognized me. He turned to the left and I growled, taking a bite of his neck.
“The right.”
“This is the right.”
“When you’re on the stairs dumbass.” He chuckled the turned the other way. He quickly got up the steps and kissed me hard. I gained some strength back and gripped his neck and kissed him back. He slammed my back to the wall and squeezed my hips. My hips rose and he thrust onto my hips. I gasped into the kiss and his tongue entered my mouth. I bit his tongue and he pulled away.
“Jesus.” I unwrapped my legs and pushed him away.
“I’m in control here.” I growled. He stumbled back and I slammed him against the wall.
“Cute. You’re even shorter than me.” He smirked, leaning casually against the wall. I kissed him hard, pulling him down to my level.
“Long live the reckless and the brave.” He said before pulling me back up and taking me to my room.

The light smacked my eyes and I groaned. I turned over but my phone wasn’t vibrating. I sat up quickly and surveyed myself.
“Shit…” I quickly sat up. I picked up the closest shirt that was mine and stood up. “Fuck…” I pulled panties from my drawer and looked beside me. I shoved him but he didn’t budge. So I shoved him off my bed. He hit the ground with a thud and a scream.
What the fuck!?
“Get out. Get your shit and get out.” I stood up to find the dress I’d been wearing last night and fell forward. He began laughing and I wondered why I still had my heels on. I kicked them off and stood up. I snatched my dress from the floor and looked over.
“I said get out!” He was standing on the other side of my bed without any clothes on. I picked up jeans and a button up and threw them at him. He caught it and picked up his boxers. I found a pair of American Eagle sweats and pulled them on.
“Come on! I liked that view.”
“If you don’t get out, I will send you out in a cop car and you’ll have a record for rape.” He pulled on his jeans without trouble and ran, still without a shirt on. I went downstairs and smiled, staring over the rail.
The house was spotless and everything was how it was before the party.
“I love Demetria.” I walked downstairs to the kitchen. I began searching around.
“Ms. McAlston?”
“Demetria, it’s River.”
“Would you like something to eat?”
“Would you mind making me strawberry pancakes?”
“Of course not.” I sat at the kitchen island and leaned on it.
“Where is Cami?”
“Still asleep probably.” I laughed.
“If you wake her up, I’ll make some for her too.”
“Will do!” I jumped up and ran to her room. But as I was coming to her room, she closed the door and turned to me.
“Hey.”
“Who’s in there?”
“What?”
“Who’s in there?”
“No one…”
“Mind me looking?” I opened the door slowly.
“No-!” She slammed it shut. “It’s just…it’s a mess.” I looked at her.
“Either way, Demetria’s making strawberry pancakes! Come on!” I took her hand and pulled her downstairs with me. After a little while, Demetria set pancakes in front of us. We ate in silence for a little while.
“I’ll tell you about mine if you tell me about yours.” We said at the same time.
“He was one of the kids I told to leave.”
“He was the kid you punched.” I smiled.
“He bit me five times.”
“He was gentle.”
“It was rough.”
“It was sweet.”
“Ick.”
“Ew.”
We began laughing at each other.
“Mine’s gone.”
“Mine’s asleep.”
“Why?”
“I’m nicer than you.” I smiled at her and took another bite.
“Guess that’s true.” I shrugged. We kept eating, not really talking, just eating.
“Do we have anything to do today?”
“Hell no. I’m slightly hungover.”
“No you’re not. You got drunk when you were fifteen and woke up perfectly fine.” I giggled and finished my pancakes.
“I know.”
