For Baltimore

Delilah~~

"I'm meeting Cassadee today, so let's not get intimate." I said to Alex.

"That's a good idea. Wanna set up the Christmas stuff?" Alex asked.

"That would be fun. While rocking out." I said. Alex nodded and kissed me.

"Let's go." He said as he pulled me up off the couch. I followed him into the garage and he opened the door.

"Grab that box and let's hang up some Christmas lights." Alex said as he pointed to a box at my feet. I picked it up and set it on the workbench. I took the lid off and Alex looked inside before grabbing a string of lights and handing them to me.

"Make sure all the lights work while I get the ladder out." Alex said. I nodded and plugged the strand of lights in while Alex struggled with the ladder.

"Need help, babe?" I asked as I quickly checked the lights. I unplugged them and walked over to him.

"Nope. I got it." He said as he lifted it and carried it out of the garage.

After all the lights were up, we both carried the Christmas tree inside. Alex had a fake tree. Sue him. We made it into the living room and we set the box down.

"Where are we setting this thing up?" I asked.

"Probably in that corner." Alex said as he pointed near the couch.

"Okay. Let's get started." I said.

"First.. We put music on." Alex said. He rushed over to the tv and bent down. He rummaged through a stack of CD's before pulling one out.

"Your own CD? Really?" I asked. Alex nodded.

"Don't panic, though." He said as he put it in the stereo.

"Why would I?"

"It's called Don't Panic." He said.

"Alright then." I said with a smile.

After about an hour and thirty minutes, the tree was all set up and decorated. Alex stepped back next to me and threw an arm around my waist and we admired our work.

"It's beautiful, Alex." I said.

"Like you." He said, and I rested my head on his shoulder. I blushed slightly and checked the time. It was nearing seven, and it was getting dark outside. The only light inside was the Christmas tree.

"Alright, we're here. You two better not be fucking. Why is it so dark in here?" Jack said as he entered.

"We didn't turn on any lights." Alex said as he turned us around. Everyone else entered after him.

"The tree is beautiful, guys." Cassadee said as she entered.

"Thanks." Alex said after he kissed my temple.

"This is Delilah, my amazing, wonderful, and beautiful girlfriend." Alex said.

"Hi.. sorry about yesterday. Didn't know that you guys were going to come over." I said as I shook Cassadee's hand.

"Oh it's alright. The only thing we saw was Alex's ass." She said.

"You know you loved it. Anyway, are you guys staying for dinner?" Alex asked.

"Abd a movie." Jack said with a cheesy smile.

"Sounds fun. I'll put a pizza in the oven, because I don't feel like preparing anything." Alex said.

"I'll come with you." Rian said. As they left, I sat down on the couch.

"So, how long have you and Alex been together?" Cassadee asked.

"Two months next month." I said with a smile.

"You guys are adorable, by the way." She said.

"Thanks, so are you and Rian." I said. She smiled and sat next to me.

Alex--

"Are you planning on asking Delilah to move in on Christmas?" Rian asked me.

"Yeah. But how should I do it?" I asked.

"It's not like you're proposing, Alex. Just do it casually." He said. I nodded.

"I also.. um got something else." I said. Rian cocked an eyebrow and I opened a cupboard and pulled out a velvet box. I showed it to Rian.

"Alex, that better not be what the fuck I think it is." Rian said. I opened it and showed him the necklace I got her.

"Oh okay. You scared me." He said as I shut the box. The kitchen door opened and I hid the box behind my back.

"You've been in here quite a while. The pizza's in the oven, come out and talk." Delilah said.

"We'll be out in a minute.."Rian said. She nodded and left. I let out a breath and returned the box to its previous place. Rian and I left the kitchen and joined them in the living room.
