Tears streamed down the face of the autumn haired girl as her boyfriend held her in his arms. The salty liquid threatened to spill from his eyes as well, but he knew that he had to be strong for the love of his life. He rubbed her back and kissed the top of her head.
Why did this have to happen to them?
What did they do to deserve this?
“Don’t worry baby,” Alex tried to tell her. “Everything will be alright.”
“I just don’t understand why it had to be us of all people,” Aurora cried. “Why?”
“I don’t know, sweetheart. I don’t know.” A single tear finally fell down his face. “I have to go to an interview now.”
“I don’t want you to go.”
“I don’t want to go either. The whole band is being interviewed, so I have to be there. You’ll have Alesia here to keep you company. I’m really sorry that I have to go.”
“No, it’s ok. I understand.”
Aurora lets go of Alex and wipes the tear away. Alex did the same to her. He never thought that something like this would happen. He hated seeing her cry like this. He wanted to take all the pain away, but how could he when he was suffering because of this too?
Alex lets go of her and makes sure to give her a kiss on the cheek before walking out of the bus. The rest of the band were waiting for him. All of their faces filled with sadness for their two friends. They knew better than to say anything to him, but he could see everything just by looking into their eyes.
Silence. No one said a word as the group made their way to the place they would be interviewed. They all wished that they could say something, but they also all knew that that wouldn’t make the awkward silence go away. It would only make it worse. What would they say anyway?
When they finally were at their destination, they split up so that Rian and Zack were on one of the joyful blonde interviewer and Alex and Jack were on the other side. The smile on her face made them feel sick. There was no way that they would be able to smile like that after what had happened today. Of course, the interviewer didn’t get the hint and kept smiling as if it was her job.
She flipped her hair and signed to the cameraman to start rolling. He did so. She picked up her microphone and giggled. This was the first time that they were being interviewed by her, and it was easy to tell that this was one of her first, if not her first, interview.
“Hello everyone. My name is Stacy, and I’m here with the members of All Time Low.” They all waved except for Alex, who just stared off into space. “How are you guys doing? I bet you’re doing awesome. Tours are always fun, right?” She looked over at Alex, but he didn’t respond.
Rian picked up the microphone on their side and spoke for him. “Tour is always fun. It’s amazing getting to see all of our fans.”
“I bet this tour is a very interesting one. I mean, Jack is actually married now with a daughter who are both with you guys on tour.”
Jack picked up the other microphone that had sat between him and Alex. “It has been interesting. It’s better actually. I love being able to have my daughter and my wife with me. If only I brought our dog with us. He’s staying with her grandmother.”
“You’re wife is deaf, right?” He nodded. “Is that hard for either of you?”
“Actually no. We all know sign language now, and she’s really good at reading lips anyway. We brought her cousin with us on tour just to be safe though for when we aren’t around to watch, Jasmine.”
Jack felt bad for talking about his daughter, his wife, and Aurora. He knew that all of this was just making Alex feel worse. How long was it going to take this chick to get a hint that they were not having a good day at all?
“Jasmine is the name of your daughter, right?”
“Yeah, and Alesia is my wife.”
“I saw a picture of all of you together. You guys look really cute together.”
“Thanks.”
“Anyway, besides the fact that, what has been everyone’s favorite thing about tour in particular?” She looked over at Alex again, knowing that he usually does a lot of the talking, but Zack, of all people, answered for him.
“I think it’s all of the other bands on tour with us. It’s really great getting to see all different kinds of people come to one place, and we get to hang out with a lot of friends that we always don’t get to hang out with.”
“I guess so.” Finally, she got really annoyed with the fact that Alex wasn’t paying attention at all. She did one of the things an interviewer should never do. She snapped. “What is your problem, Alex? Everyone else is talking.”
Alex looked at her with a frown on her face. He really wasn’t in the mood. He snatched the microphone away from Jack. “Well, I’m sorry that I’m having the worse day of my life!”
This took Stacy back. “Oh. What happened?”
Alex’s face fell just from the thought of it. His eyes watered up, but he was careful not to let a single tear fall like last time with Aurora. “My girlfriend...she, um, she had... a miscarriage.”
“I’m sorry. I didn’t know.”
“Don’t worry. It’s ok.”
“I didn’t know that you had a girlfriend again.”
“We started dating about two months ago.”
“On tour?”
“Yeah. She’s Alesia cousin, Aurora.”
“Oh really? Well, it’s cute that you’re dating a cousin of Jack’s wife. I think I saw a picture of her. She has reddish hair with browns in it and one blue eye and one green eye, right?”
“Yeah, that’s her.”
“She’s very pretty.”
“Yeah, she is.”
“Do you know if there is a reason why she... had a miscarriage?”
“We just found out today so no. She hasn’t been under stress, and I’ve been making sure that everything goes well. I really don’t know.”
“Well, hopefully it’s a one time thing. You’d make a great dad, and I’m sure she’d make a great mom.”
“Thanks.”
“Your welcome. Well, I’m just going to end this interview. If you want, I won’t put it up.”
“It’s ok. I don’t think Aurora will care. We were going to tell everyone soon anyway.”
“Well, ok. I’m really sorry though.”
“Thanks. I’m going to go back to the bus to be with her.”
Alex made his way back to his girlfriend. He walked into the bus and could hear her crying. He made his way to her bunk.
“What if it’s my fault?” she asked Alesia.
“What if it is? He’s not going to hate you for something like that.”
“How do you know?”
Alex couldn’t take it anymore. He pulled back the curtain. “I know,” he said. “I wouldn’t care because I love you. I’ll love you no matter what because you’re perfect to me.” Alesia got out of the bunk, so Alex could get in to cuddle with Aurora. “I love you. Everything is going to be ok. Don’t cry.” Right after he said that, he couldn’t hold it back anymore. He started to sob even more than she was. The two of them fell asleep in each other’s arms with tear stains on their faces.

Yeah. I just did that to them. I've had this planned all along. I never wanted her to get pregnant and have a kid with Alex because it would be just like with Jack and Alesia, so when I came up with this when Jack was having that talk with Alex after the night they got together. I made sure that the last chapter was cute to prepare for this because it's going to take a little bit for everything to be ok. Sorry if I hurt anyone feelings, but this had to happen.
I'm also going to update this on Thursday or Friday mornings (as in really morning). I live in the Eastern Standard Time area just so you know. So it's actually almost five in the morning...
Anyway, I'm also writing six other stories. Two of them I still have to put up. Two of them, including Knots, are Jalex. The one will be put up on Sunday. One of them is a Jack/OC slash which I already have two chapters for. Another one that I started on Monday is a Jack/OC and Alex/OC, and the other two are Jack/OC. I will put the one up on Saturday.
