Ch.11: Concert
Anna's POV:
Jack said he had a surprise for me, and to meet him at our spot. I run straight to our spot and see him standing there waiting for me. He smiles at me, his right hand behind his back. "What yiou hiding behind you back?" "Its surprise." "Let me see! Let me see!" He laughs and pulls me close with his free hand. "Pwease?" I give him the cute puppy dog look and he just kisses me. "You need to have more patience, you know that?" I pout cutely and he laughs more.
"You really wanna see?" "Yes! Now show me!" He laughs and kisses me slowly this time, I pull away. "You can't make me forget about the surprise with that Jacky! Now show me!' He laughs again and holds up his right hand with two concert tickets in it.
I grab the concert tickets from him and I wanted to scream my lungs out and pass out right there. He got tickets for Bowling For Soup's and Blink-182's sold out tour. "How did you get these!?" "I know a guy," he grins. I punch his arm, "yeah right," I laugh. "Okay okay, I got these right when they went on sale." I scream and hug him tightly, standing on my toes and giving him a slow kiss.

I was sitting in class, wearing my Blink-182 shirt, right after class me and Jack driving to the venue so we can be the first in line. The venue was also a hour away.
Zack sits down by me and I ignore him. I was not going to let him ruin my day. I can feel his eyes staring at me. "If your staring at me, stop." He was quiet for a while before he spoke, "nice shirt. And good music choice." I didn't know how to respond to that. I knew Alex liked Blink-182, he played them in his car for most of the time. I didn't realize that Zack would.
Damn I hope he's not there tonight.

Jack and I run to the venue, we were an hour late because of traffic. A line had already formed and I groan in a annoyance. This is what I was afraid of. We get our spot in line, 40 people were ahead of us. I knew we weren't going to have front row by the looks of this.
Alex's POV:
We go the back of the venue, wearing our backstage passes. You get perks for volunteering at the venue once in a while. You also need to have special connections.
We pass the regular line that looped around the venue, Zack stops walking and I stop to. I realize he's staring at Anna, who was standing in line with Jack. Jack had his arms around her, and they were listening to her iPod. I pull on Zack's arm, "come on man." He shakes his head and we head to the back. We say hi to some of the guys that we knew who were working tonight. "Course you two get backstage passes for this show," Cindy says to us. She was the all around rock chick, tattoos, hair dyed, peircings, great taste in music, and of course she was hot as fuck.
She smiles at us, "now Alex. I know what your thinking, no. I won't sleep with you. Ever." She laughs, pats my shoulder and walks off. "You know you want me Cindy!," I yell after her with a grin. She laughs, "what ever you say little boy," she yells back making me laugh. She was also in her 30's. "Stop flirting with Cindy and lets go," Zack tells me.
We go inside, pass some of the employees, saying hi to the ones we know. "Fuck you guys!!," Jason yells after us. We laugh and keep walking, he was just jealous we could see the concert tonight while he actually had to work.
We wait side stage, seeing everyone fill up the pit and main area of the venue. I spot Jack and Anna run into the pit, getting half way in. I knew Zack was staring, he couldn't get her off his mind. "I wanna be down there," he says. "What!? Come on man, we havn't had side stage in a long time." "I have to be down there, I want her to notice me." I think he just lost his mind.

Anna's POV:
At the end for Bowling For Soup, Jack told the two guys in front of us that he wants to crowd surf. They help him jump up and I watch Jack crowd surf to the front, singing along to the song. I laugh and keep head banging and jumping along with the crowd.
Someone lands by me who was crowd surfing, almost knocking me over. "Look ass hole!! If your gonna crowd surf, keep going!!" I look up and see that it was Zack. He smiles at me, "fancy running into you here!!," he yells over the music. The crowd gets calm, Bowling For Soup had finished their set and next was Blink-182. I look around for a way out, but it was useless. The only way I could get out is if I crowd surf my way to security at the barrier. Which means I would have to ask Zack to lift me because the two guys from earlier had moved along witht he crowd, and I was now standing with girls.
"I knew you were coming when I saw your shirt." I didn't look up at him. "Come on. For one night, can we just get along and have fun?" Still ignored him. "Anna, I really am-" "Save it for someone who actually cares."
As soon Blink-182 came out I screamed my lungs out, I never been this excited before. I start singing along, and I hear Zack singing along to. We jump with the crowd, the crowd was a lot more rough but I was fine.
At one point the crowd was being pushed in different directions and I started to lose my balance. I scream when I fell on the floor and started to panic. People were being pushed around me and I screamed for help. I feel two big hands go under my armpits and pull me up. I was shaking and crying, that was the scariest thing thats ever happened to me. I feel two big arms wrap around me and pull me close to him. I didn't care who it was, the person was trying to calm me down.
"Hey your fine now, I won't let you fall again," it was Zack. I lean against him, taking a breath. I didn't care that it was him, I needed the support. Blink-182 was talking now, but I wasn't paying attention. My breathing went back to normal, "you okay now?" I nod and he lets go of me.
They started playing again we jumped with the crowd again. I almost fall again but Zack catches me. I look up at him, his face full of concern. He was holding me so close to him, that I could barely feel the crowd pushing us around. He pushes some hair out of my face, he was looking in my eyes. He leans down and presses his lips to mine. His lips were soft and I don't know what made me but I kissed him back. It was different from last time, he was gentle and sweet. We kissed for I don't know how long until I pull away from him.
I stare at him in horror, rubbing my mouth, trying to get the taste of him off. He stares at me and leans down again. I push him away from me, "NO! STAY AWAY FROM ME!," I yell over the music. "Anna, I-" Before he got the chance to finish what he was saying, I held onto a guy's shoulders who was in front of me and jumped up. I jumped high enough to where I could be over the crowd and I started to crowd surf towards the front. I wanted to be away from him, far away from him.
I reach the front, security helps me down and walks me past the stage. I run to the spot where Jack said we would meet if we got seperated and he was there. I run up to him and hug him tightly, "Anna, about time!," he laughs. I look up at him and he kisses me, I could feel his lips smiling. He didn't see it.

I was laying in bed, sore and tired from the concert. But all I could think about was Zack. I wanted to pound my head into something, hoping that it would make me forget. I didn't want to admit it. But if I didn't, then I would be lying to myself.
I felt something when he kissed me. Something going off inside me, like fireworks. My stomach had butterflys in it, and I wanted to melt in his arms, legs shaking.
I never felt that way with Jack.
