Sunday.
Surprises.
"Y/N! Seriously! We're going to be late! Ashley said to meet up at 12! It's 11.30." Oli screamed down the bus as you pulled on your Chuck Taylors in the back room. He had been in a bad mood all week and you had no idea why.
"Oliver. Calm it. I'm ready. You wanted me ready by 11.30. Here I am." You placed a hand on his cheek before you placed a kiss on his soft lips. "Please, just relax, it's only lunch." He nodded with an apologetic smile and looked your up and down. You knew you looked good. You were wearing your new tight ripped jeans and green day tank. You smiled and winked at Oli before pushing past him and jumping into the front seat of your Camaro. Oli slid into the passenger seat and leant over the gear box to peck you in the cheek. You smiled before pushing your foot to the pedal and whipping off through the Los Angeles streets.
Ashley screamed you names as you handed your keys to the valet and walked into the cafe.
"How does a cafe have a valet?" You whispered to Oli as you made your way over to your friend. He shrugged and grabbed your hand as you followed Ashley past the towering cakes and collections of cupcakes which decorated the store. When you asked what you were doing here Ashley simply told you to wait and be patient and directed you to a table in a back room. Kellin and Katelynne waved from where they were sitting and you took a seat next to Kate. Ashley motioned for a waiter to come over and the small Asian man presented the table with a selection of small pieces of cakes with icing and fillings.
"Oh Ashley, you idiot." Oli mumbled after the waiter explained the flavors."Wedding cake tasting? Really?"
"Dude I was hungry and I wanted to do something nice. Take it an run!" Ashely exclaimed as he filled his plate with one of each flavor. Kellin was much more civilized taking taking two of the chocolate cake and placing one on each of his and Katelynne's plates.
"This is what our cake was made from." Katelynne smiled as she took a bite off her fork.
"We've been engaged all of two months and you're making us taste cake." Oli groaned as he shot down his glass of chocolate wine. You wacked him and told him to be grateful that you had such nice friends. He sighed as he retreated into his own thoughts and you took up wedding talk with Ashley, Kellin and Katelynne.
"Why did you have to be so rude." You locked the door of the house behind Oli and leant against it with your arms crossed. "Oliver. Look at me." He whipped around dramatically and muttered something about calling him Oliver. "Stop acting like a spoilt brat. Ashley tried to do something nice for us and you what, sulked all afternoon? Honestly, it's pathetic. He's your best man. You could at least be grateful." Oli's face slowly turned from pink sulk to red rage.
"Grateful!? We don't even have a date yet and he's forcing us to chose cake and wine! All I wanted was to claim you as mine forever, but everyone seems to be rushing it!"
"No ones rushing anything," you screamed after him as you followed him into the kitchen. "He was trying to help us out." Oli pulled out a glass and a bottle of Jack and downed the drink in one. "Oliver." You hated it when he drank angry.
"Don't call me Oliver!" He threw his glass across the room and it smashed across the sink. He swigged straight from the bottle and you rushed up to him and tried to calm him down. He whacked his hand around and knocked you to the floor. You heard a ringing in your ears and you struggled to see Oli's face before your world went blank.
