Oh, Calamity!

The following week, all of us were hanging out at Jack’s apartment. Jack, Alex, Luna, Zack, Rian, and Cassadee were all there, and for the first time since we had reunited, I felt like I belonged, like I was truly with all of my best friends instead of an outcast trying to be a part of some exclusive clique. It made me feel like a teenager again, especially with bringing up old inside jokes and having to explain them to Cassadee, laughing continuously.
It was like nothing had changed. Luna and Alex were still the power couple, always together and totally in love. Rian and Zack were still utter goofballs, but Rian kept looking at Cassadee, the newest addition. They were in love too, you could tell, and I was slightly jealous. The chemistry I had with Will wasn’t even in the same ballpark as these two couples, and I couldn’t help but doubt my relationship. And then there was Jack, the previous love of my life. It was like we couldn’t stop looking at each other, like we always had. It made me ache to be with him again, even though it was impossible.
And that’s how everything went until the early hours of the morning, all of us just chilling together. I never wanted this familiar feeling to end again. Sadly, they all began to leave until it was just Jack and I sitting on his couch, a nervous feeling dancing around inside of me. Unsure of what to do, I decided to try some reminiscing.
“I really miss high school sometimes, especially when we relive memories like that,” I commented. “I had so much less to worry about, and life was just easier.”
“No kidding! Those were the good ol’ days. Luna, Alex, Zack, Rian...and you and me,” Jack responded. “There was no Cassadee, but damn, it was still one of the best times.”
I paused, heart pounding in my chest. “Do you ever miss when we were together?”
He nodded. “Of course I do. What about you?”
“Well, yeah. I mean, we were together for almost 3 years, and we were great,” I explained.
“Exactly. We fought sometimes, but we always got through it. And god, those nights we spent together,” he added.
“Like that time your parents and siblings were out of town and I came over for the night. That was the first time we ever had sex,” I mentioned.
A small smile crept onto his lips. “Followed by 2 more times.”
I laughed, blushing, but then I realized how close our faces were and only inching closer. I should’ve pulled away, or done something to stop this. It was wrong. Jack and I would both be cheating. We weren’t even drunk, and we knew exactly what we were doing. But, as his lips finally pressed to mine softly, those thoughts spinning in my head were pushed out.
My hands found their way into his hair, deepening the kiss as I molded my lips to his. God, how I had missed this feeling. His tongue swept across my bottom lip, and I opened mine in compliance. Jack leaned back into the couch, pulling me on top of him and wrapping his arms around my waist.
We laid there, fighting for dominance in our kiss as his hands slipped under the fabric of shirt, his warm touch ghosting my skin and making me shudder. I pulled away from him, slightly out of breath. “Bedroom,” I gasped.
He nodded, and I got off of him, guiding him to his room and shutting the door behind us. Jack was already there, slamming my back into the doorknob and kissing me hungrily. His fingers hooked in the belt loops of my jeans, dragging me even closer to him. I stepped forward, pushing him back until the backs of his legs hit the foot of my bed, then I used all of my force to shove him onto it.
I climbed on top of him, straddling his waist. He shot me a grin, his hand gripping the back of my neck, pulling me down and keeping our faces close together. “I almost forgot how you like to be dominant.” he murmured.
He began kissing and sucking down my neck, and I was sure to have a mark, but I decided not to care at that moment. I tugged at the hem of his t-shirt, and he pulled away, allowing me to bring it over his head and toss it to the floor. He had filled out considerably more since I had last done this with him. My fingers traced the outline of his Jack Skellington tattoo.
“Like what you see?” he smirked. I rolled my eyes playfully before smashing my lips to his again reaching for the button of his jeans. He smacked my hand away, and I gave him a confused look. “Not fair. You need to get naked too,” he said.
I sighed, slipping my shirt off and throwing it to the side. His mouth was attached to my skin once more, teeth scraping against my collarbone and causing me to gasp. He took my distraction as an opportunity to flip us over so he’d be on top.
“Hey! You distracted me!” I pouted.
“Two can play at this game, love,” he said in a husky voice. I hadn’t been called love in years, and hearing it from Jack made a shiver run up my spine. He reached behind me and unclasped my bra with a flick of his wrist, slipping it off of my shoulders and casting it aside. He palmed one of my breasts, flicking his thumb across the nipple before leaning down to suck on the other.
I moaned, raking my fingers across his chest and receiving a quiet hiss in response. My hands moved to his belt, unbuckling it and unlooping it in one fluid motion. He caught my lips with his again in a fiery kiss, fingers ghosting over my stomach as they traveled down to undo my pants.
I sunk my teeth into his bottom lip ever so gently, causing him to whimper. Cold air hit my legs as Jack pulled my jeans off and pooled them onto the floor. I gently pushed him off of me, returning to my previous straddling position. I helped him take off his pants quickly, dragging his boxers down with them and palming him.
“Fuck,” he moaned at the touch. I smirked, beginning to rub up and down slowly. His eyes closed from pleasure, but he moved my hand away. “I won’t last long if you do that.”
Once again, I was flipped onto my back as Jack slipped my underwear off my legs and leaving the both of us completely naked. Kissing me, he slid a finger inside of me and thrusted it forcefully, my groaning enveloped in our kiss. His thumb brushed my clit, causing me to buck my hips upwards, needing the friction.
“Fuck, Jack,” I gasped.
“Now we’re getting somewhere.” He grinned, retracting his finger. He positioned himself in front of my entrance, brushing a stray lock of hair from my face lovingly. “Still as beautiful as ever.”
He kissed me again, less hungry but instead filled with so much passion I thought I could burst, and I tried to match it while kissing back. At this point, it no longer just felt like having sex but more making love, like we used to when we were young. Why hadn’t I realized how much I missed Jack? Hell, I was still hopelessly in love with him. That thought hit me like a ton of bricks.
Without warning, Jack thrusted inside of me fully before pulling out to slam back in. A loud moan escaped from my mouth and echoed throughout the room as I dug my fingernails into his back. “Oh, Jack.”
“Shit, you’re so perfect, love,” he panted, sweat covering his forehead.
His thrusts began to pick up the pace, hitting my g-spot every time. My toes curled. “Jack...I’m so close.”
“Me too, holy fuck,” he groaned. I could feel the knot in my stomach building and building, closer to release with every movement.
Finally, I hit my breaking point, convulsing underneath him. “JACK,” I screamed.
His eyes rolled back in his head as he came inside me with one last groan. “Nora...oh my god...”
We rode out our highs until Jack finally pulled out, collapsing onto the bed next to me and pulling me closer to him. I moved my comforter so it was covering us both, panting and exhausted, and judging by the look on Jack’s face, he was just as fucked out as I was.
“We’ve both gotten pretty good at that,” I commented.
It wasn’t long before we both drifted off, my head cuddling into Jack’s chest, unaware of what the morning would bring...or even aware that there would be consequences for our night together.
