Clara's POV:
I tell my ladies in waiting to wait outside for me with my new guards, I wanted to be alone to go someplace that I didn't want my guards to be with me. They walk out and I run over to the secret entrance, the castle is filled with them, but father doesn't know about this one. I open the secret passage door and grab a lit candle. I walk inside and close the door before running off down the cool stone hall. "Sebastian," I whisper. "I'm right here Clara." I turn and smile at my best friend and he smiles back. I put my candle down with its holder on the ground before I hugged him tightly and he hugs me back. "My father hired new guards, I don't know why though. It was really difficult to have them stand outside my room to wait for me. I don't have much time." "I understand Clara." He runs his fingers tips down my cheek and I close my eyes. "I have missed you so much Clara." "I have missed you to Sebastian." If I could choose who I would marry it would be Sebastian.
"Has your father chosen your fiancee?" "Yes... He is here right now, I will be meeting him for the first time tonight." Sebastian sighs and steps away from me. "What is it?" "Don't you understand Clara? What we have is over starting right now." "It doesn't have to be though." "Yes, it does. Your engaged. I'm just a stable boy, your royalty, future queen. You have to marry someone who is royalty as well." "What if I want to break the tradition and marry you?" "I'm sorry Clara, but that is not allowed. I have to go now, and so do you. Your guards will start to worry about you." Sebastian walks off and I force myself not to cry. I didn't want my guards to know I was.

Natalie's POV:
Last night my dad had gotten really drunk and he decided that I would be his punching bag for a second. He said since I misbehaved for mom earlier that I needed to be punished. I left really early this morning so I could get away before they woke up. I was starving and the cafeteria has a free breakfast which I was really thankful for. I get my breakfast and sit at a table away from everyone else. That guy Alex saw my bruise this morning after I tried really hard to hide it from him. "Hey, anyone sitting with you?" I look up and see a guy with black hair that was straighten and it covered his right eye. He had gauges, a lip piercing, and insanely gorgeous blue eyes. "Um. No." I tried to hide my face from him so he wouldn't see my bruise. "Thanks." He sits down across from me, "everyone else taking up the tables and I saw that you were sitting alone." "Its fine." "I'm Oliver, but I like to be called Oli." "I like Oli more to." I smile at him and made sure my hair covered where my bruise was.
"What's your name?" "Natalie." "I like that," he smiles at me and I look down. "I'm new here, I decided to come early and try to find someone to help me around for the day." "I'm new to, I just started yesterday." "I got lucky then, we can be the newbies together." I laugh to myself and look back up at him. "Can I see your schedule? Maybe we have the same classes." "Sure. Can I see yours?" "Sure." We exchange schedules, Oli only has one class with me, at least I have one friend now in a class. I read his full name, Oliver Sebastian Grim. Strange but cool name. "I really like your name Natalie, its pretty. Natalie Clara Rose." "Thanks.... I like your's to." "My parents said it was a passed down name, every guy on my dad's side has the same middle name." "My parents just named me, nothing special to it. We have one class together." "At least I have one friend," he smiles and I smile back. I like Oli. Something about him pulls me in.
