Reincarnated

Alex's POV:
Clara quickly unties the rope that held us to the tree and we quickly stand in front of her. "You're not getting your hands on her Sebastian," I say. Sebastian laughs, "you have underestimated my powers Gaskarth." I start floating up, "Rian!! Get her away from here!!" I see Rian grab Clara's hand and they run off. Sebastian glares at me and I get thrown across the yard. I hear Jack and Zack yell and they land near me. "I will have Clara back!!!" Sebastian disappears and I quickly get up and run over to Tay. I kneel down by her and roll her onto her back, her eyes closed. "Tay, Tay please wake up." "She's not dead right," Jack asks. "Tay... Please wake up..." I move her hair out of her face and have her head rest in my lap. "Come on Tay... We need you... I need you... We're a team, we always have been..."

I stare at her lips and look away from them. No. Tay is just a friend. My best girl friend. But we dated for a short period of time once... I look back at her, no sign of her waking up soon. "Come on Tay..." I lean down more and slowly kiss her while closing my eyes. I feel something surge through me, like something magical, and I sit up. "Come on Tay..." Tay slowly opens her eyes and stares up at me. "Alex... Alex!!!" I let Tay sit up and she stares at me in a panic. "Tay what is it?" "How did that happen.. How am I awake..." "Tay, what are you talking about?" "I'm supposed to be dead Alex. How can I be alive." "What do you mean dead." "Sebastian took my powers, that's part of the spell. When he took my powers, he took my life." "Tay, how come you didn't tell us that part?" "Because I didn't want to scare you guys even more." "Well we were pretty freaked out finding out we're originally spirits from the spirit world," Jack speaks up.

"I couldn't tell you guys that part, I wanted you guys to live normal. But this doesn't make since how I'm alive right now. What happened before I woke up?" I can feel Jack and Zack staring down at me, and Tay notices. "What? Alex what did you do?" "I um.. I uh..." "Alex. Say it." "I kissed you," I quickly say and look away from her. "It can't be," Tay whispers. "What can't be." "There's only way to break the spell in me after its been activated..." "And what's that?" Tay stares at me, something in her eyes I never seen before. "True loves kiss."

Rian's POV:
Clara and I quickly run into my house and I lock the door. My family isn't home thankfully. "Rian, what's going on. Where are we." I hold Clara's hand gently, "sh.. Its okay.." "Rian I'm scared," Clara whispers. "I know you are, which is why I'm going to explain everything." I bring Clara into the living room and sit her down on the couch. I sit by her and hold her hands and have her stare at me. Clara is scared being here, not understand what is around her and this new world. "Clara, on your 18th birthday, do you remember what happened." "Yes, its the last memory I have. Someone had killed father." "Shortly after that, Taylor had me and the guys go with her. She's a light witch, she had cast a spell that would end our time and that we would be reborn in the future. And you would be the only one who wouldn't regain your memory." "But why me?" "Because she knew the battle will start again if you did. And it has. Clara, the real enemy is Victor and Sebastian."

Clara backs away from me, "you're lying. Victor would never hurt me." "Then explain why Victor dragged you to Sebastian and didn't treat you kindly." "I-I I don't know." "He doesn't love you Clara, he never did." "No, its not true!" "Clara look at me." I hold her still and she stares at me, tears running down her face. "He doesn't love me..." "No.. He doesn't..." Clara calms down and I let go of her. "I'm scared Rian..." "I know you are... But I'm going to protect you... We all are..." Clara quickly hugs me and buries her face into my chest. I hold her and rub her back, "its going to be okay Clara. I promise." Clara slowly looks up at me and I wipe her tears. What Vic said is true. I'm in love with Clara. It only explains why I was the first one who met her and accepted her for who she was when she started school. I didn't realize it had killed me seeing her with Vic. Even back then, I should have realized what my feelings were for her. I could have probably saved her back then.

"Clara, I-" I hear a loud crack through out the house and I hold Clara close. "You're not getting away so easily!!!," I hear Sebastian scream, his scream echoing through out the house.

Alex's POV:
"Tay where are we going," I breathe out. "Rian's house, I can feel their presence there." "Can we at least stop running," Jack breathes out. "I told you guys we should have ran more," Zack says. "Just shut up about that Zack," Jack and I say in unison. "I should have known from the very beginning." "Known what." "That the only thing that can stop this war, to stop Sebastian for good." "What's that." We reach Rian's house and stare in horror, his house has deep cracks in it, like its going to fall apart. "Rian and Clara are trapped in there." We hear Sebastian laugh, his laugh moving through the wind. "You three try to get them out, I'll try to hold up the house." Jack and Zack run to the house and I stay back with Tay. "Alex go!" "I will after I do this." I pull Tay to me and kiss her, I feel Tay freeze up and she slowly relaxes and kisses me back. We slowly pull apart, "true loves kiss broke the spell in you Tay. I broke the spell," I whisper. "Who knew my true love would be a knight who I summoned from the spirit world," Tay whispers. I smile at her and she laughs, "love works in crazy ways."

"Now go Alex, okay." "Okay." I quickly kiss her again and run into the house, Jack and Zack already inside. "Wait! Tay! What about!-" The door closes by itself and it locks. "I need to know what you were about to say. How to stop this..."
