Thanks to You

*Tianna's POV*

In front of me stood Charles with his perfect blonde hair and dimples smiling at me from across the room. Seeing him made me feel sick but also gave me a feeling of security. I now knew more then four people in this school...even though one more person may not make or break me I still enjoyed company.

"Who is that?" Alex whispered into my ear leaning over his desk a curious look on his face. He took careful note of how Charles appeared. Charles was attractive I'm not taking that away from him, everywhere he went girls gawked at him. Alex was probably taking careful note for Jack.

"My friend Charles." I replied waving Charles to come over, he sat behind me and took out his supplies for the first class of the day. His purple notebook matched his purple pencil case and he took out a pair of glasses from a gray case, sliding them onto his face.

"Jack is not going to like him." Alex said before turning around and greeting Charles. I didn't really pay attention to their conversation because I was busy thinking over what Alex had told me about Jack not liking Charles. If Jack saw Charles as competition I wouldn't be too worries, Charles was only my friend. But, maybe Jack didn't view me like that and would just think Charles wouldn't fit into the "group".

My thoughts were interrupted by the teacher coming in and introducing themselves, handing out papers we received the class rules and what was to be expected of us for the year.

Halfway through Alex leaned in and suggested that for lunch we eat outside and meet up with Jack. I nodded liking the sound of that because I wanted to start to spend some more time with the boys. They seemed like a good bunch...I knew they were. Knowing them in real life was a dream, I was waiting for someone to shake me and I would wake up in my old bed in my old town. Living this life with them was certainly going to have its ups and downs but I was ready for anything...at least I hoped so.

The bell rung and everyone hurriedly packed up and the room filled with chatter. Gathering my things I felt someone bump into me and saw Charles, he gave me a gentle smile and we both walked out of the class going separate ways down the hall.

*Lunch*
After my grueling classes I stopped at my locker and picked up my lunch. Spotting Alex walking outside I followed him, he was heading towards a table until he took a sharp left into one of the schools ally ways. That was odd, I decided to follow him.

"Okay, so you plan on making this hard for her right?" I heard Alex whisper to a figure I could not make out.

"Yeah, I'm hoping she chooses me because she's really pretty and nice and I don't want her to get hurt." A voice whispered that I couldn't tell who they were.

"Im not paying you to get all mushy with her, just keep her away from dating Jack!" Alex said harshly raising his voice a little. Why did I need to stay away from Jack?

They finished talking and that was my queue to bolt out of there. I ran to the table and acted normal when Alex arrived a minute later. Slowly I unpacked my lunch and let what I overheard play no part on my face, I was emotionless. I chewed on my turkey sandwich staring down the nearby tree when I felt and arm come around me.

"Yo Ti" Jack said into my ear rocking us back and forth.

"Oh um just eating my lunch...filling up for all the homework I have tonight" To be honest I didn't have a lot but to them it would probably seem like quite the amount.

"Homework?!? I keep forgetting you're in all those AP classes you smart kid you!" Jack rustled my hair and went to go talk to some girls by the tree.

"So anything interesting happen on your first day here?" Alex asked me

"No nothing really stood out to me" except for the fact that you're hiding something, I refrained from saying that not wanting to bring up an unwanted conversation. I would just figure this out for myself.
