*tiannas POV*

I looked myself over in the mirror one more time. My black heels and black skirt were tied together with my blue silk shirt. Nerves filled me and truth be told I haven't been on many dates before. Jack was so perfect too, I was so blah compared to him.

I curled my hair and pulled it back into a pony tail, my eyeliner winged out and I coated my lips with red. Now I just had to wait for jack.

Fifteen minutes of waiting and a knock sounded from the foyer.

"I will get it!" I called sprinting to the door as fast as I can in my high heels. My mom beat me to the door and let jack in, he was facings away from me. Clearing my throat he turned around and his eyes got so wide I'm pretty sure they took up his whole face.

"You look beautiful" he sad breathlessly

"I might say the same Barakat" I giggled, he had on a blue button down shirt and dress pants. His black shoes shined under the foyer lighting. Jack and I just stood there smiling at each other before the silence was broken by the chink of the camera.

"Sorry, I couldn't resist! Now you two better get on your way! Be home by 11!" My mom shoved us out the door. Jack took my hand and led me to the small blue car parked in the driveway. He opened the door for me and slid in buckling myself in.

When he started the car first date by Blink-182 blasted from the stereo. "Nice pick! Really suits the setting." I giggled and turned up the volume.

"I was hoping you would appreciate my corniness" jack had a happy gleam in his eye, it made him look so cute.

"Where are we going?" I asked curiously drumming my fingers on the dashboard. Jack pursed his lips, I could he was contemplating whether or not to spill the beans and tell where we were headed.

"We're taking a trip downtown to the worlds finest park." He pointed his thumb to the back seat and brought my attention to a picnic basket safely secured in the seat behind me, a blanket folded next to it.

"It's lovely" I said grabbing his hand and holding it for the remainder of the ride.

To soon we were at the park and I had to let go of jacks hand. He went around the car and opened my door for me, stepping on the grass I was starting to regret wearing high heels.

Jack helped me out and then grabbed the food from the back, soon he was by my side holding my hand and guiding me to an open field.

My heels sunk into the grass as we made our way to the small field; the field was covered in daisys and had trees around the edges. The sun shined down on the area illuminating it.

We took the blanket and laid it out on the grass. Sitting down I watched as jack got out the paper plates and napkins. He continued to pull out two sandwiches, a bag of salt and vinegar chips, and two cokes.

"I present to you to most romantic dinner you have ever eaten!" He outstretched his arms making me giggle.

"It looks delicious" I smiled leaning over the food and kissing him on the cheek. "Now I'm starving let's eat!" I said grabbing a plate and a sandwich.

"Hapakw andoska" jack said with a mouthful of chips, taking a swing of his coke he restated what I couldn't understand.

"How have you been?" Jack looked into my eyes and I couldn't help but smile.

"Honestly? Since I came here I have been doing okay." I laid down on the blanket and took in the pink and orange sky and how the sun was slowly fading away on to its next journey.

jack looked down at me with eagerness. I couldn't help but feel the same eagerness consume me.

Jack licked his lips and bent down getting closer and closer. His lips soon met mine and butterflies erupted in my stomach. All to soon the moment was over and I was left breathless.

"Want some dessert?" Jack asked, his voice a little shaky. He dug up two ice cream sandwiches from the basket. Handing me one my fingers met the cold surface and they danced at the folds of the paper eager for the food. Opening the wrapper I bit into the sandwich eagerly.

"I'm guessing you really like ice cream sandwiches" jack laughed at me and how much I was enjoying it.

"Don't laugh at me! Remember I'm here voluntarily" I warned him waving my ice cream in the air.

"MMMM and for that I am forever grateful! No girl has ever voluntarily gone on a date with me, usually I have to take their family hostage." He finished off his sandwich and started cleaning everything up.

"Shut up" I said rolling my eyes but I couldn't help but smile.

"Close your eyes" he demanded

"What why" questioning him but giving to his demand

"Hold out your hands" he ordered and seeing no other option I stuck them out. I felt something placed in my hand and I turned it around. It was a box but what was inside.

I opened my eyes and looked at the red velvet box curiously, it seemed to taunt me. Opening it slowly my eyes met a pair and silver stud earrings.

"Jack you didn't have to" my face showed amazement and gratefulness

"Just a little bribe for when I ask you to be my girlfriend." He winked at me and I blushed. "But we just had a first date" I pointed out the obvious.

"I know silly but down the road." Jack informed me

"I hate to damper the mode but we kinda of have to go" jack offered me my hand and pulled me up. We walked back to the car and hopped in. I hadn't noticed how late it was until he turned the car on and it said ten o'clock. It didn't seem that dark outside...maybe because of the lights in the park.

We drove home in content silence and I was sad when I saw the familiar street greet me. As we pulled into my driveway jack stopped the car. Deja vu took over and the memory of Charles came back into my mind.

"Well jack, thanks for tonight you're a real sweetie." I opened the door but jack not content with this goodbye ran after me.

"Wait! You didn't give me a kiss goodnight." He closed his eyes waiting for me to respond.

"Sorry bud tonight was horrible and shouldn't be rewarded with a kiss." I said sarcastically but turned away wanting to go inside. But before I could escape jack grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him kissing me like we were lovers.
