Chapter 1
"Julia....Julia!...JULIA" Ms. Kathy yelled on the front porch of the home. 5 year old Julia ran to the porch. "yes, ma'me?" she said in a quiet voice. "Where have you been all day?!" she asked in a panicked tone. "Well...me and Howie jumped of the swings and played in the mud. We made Mud Pies, You want one?" she asked with a little kid country accent. Ms. Kathy laughed. "No thanks, Julia, go take a bath and get ready for bed. it's 9:30 and we have visitors coming bright and early tomorrow." Julia did what she said and went to sleep.

Alex's Point of View
"Ah, I see. I think we have a little girl you would possibly want to adopt, she's 5, hyper most of the time and a little messy." the lady at the foster home said over the phone. "Great, we'll be in tomorrow to meet her" I said. I said goodbye and told Jack about the plans. Me and Jack have had this idea for a long time and we were now finally going through with it. We decided that we could home school her...more like bus school her so we didn't have to be away from her on tours. We were going to make this work. We hadn't yet told the fans that we were going to adopt or that we have been dating for 3 years now. Tomorrow was the day Jack and I were going to meet the girl who would be our daughter. we had just finished tour and i just finished getting the house ready an hour ago. Now me and Jack are now snuggled on the the couch watching late night television. Jack was slowly falling asleep. I too was starting to fall asleep.

Julia's Point of View
I heard my room door open. Ms. Kathy stood there with 2 men i didn't know, one had a funky skunk hair. it looked really cool. "Julia, these are our visitors, Jack and Alex." she said with a smile. "Hi, I was currently having a picnic, but you can join us if ya want." i said. They both said sure. I served them the best mud pies i had made from yesterday and water from the sink downstairs. "don't worry, you don't actually have to eat it. Ms. Kathy doesn't allow food upstairs....or mud, but she doesn't have to know. They laughed. We just talked for a little while. then Mr. Alex had to go talk to Ms. Kathy. so then it was just me and Jack playing for a little while. We played all day and when Ms. Kathy came back she told me to pack my bag. I panicked, I can't leave Howie and Sadie.

Alex's Point Of View
"BUT MS. KATHY I CAN'T LEAVE HOWIE AND SADIE. PLEASE DONT MAKE ME LEAVE I NEED THEM!" Julia yelled. I felt bad. Me and Jack both loved Julia but we can't take care of 3 kids."It's alright Julia, Im going to talk to Mr. Gaskarth. Just pack your bags." Kathy said. Julia mumbled something when she left the room but i didn't know what she said. " Sadie is her Goldfish and Howie is her imaginary friend to let you know. She acts like they are people. She's a little weird. you still want to sign the papers?" Kathy said. "Of course" i said and signed the papers. Julia was now Jack and I's daughter.

I had my bags packed when Ms. Kathy came back in my room. "Julia, Mr. Alex and Mr Jack are now your parents, okay? They said Howie and Sadie could go with you. Sadie is in his bowl downstairs. Im really gonna miss you. You be good. I love you." I gave her a big hug. "I love you too Ms Kathy. I waved to her as i got in the car with Mr. Alex and Mr. Jack.
