Metal Death Trap
Alex's POV
"Leigh, what's the real reason you wanted to come home?" I asked my daughter as we pulled out of the school parking lot. She sat there staring at her hands, "Come on leigh, you have to answer me"
"I just didnt want to be at school anymore, i dont like school" She finally answered. I sighed shaking my head.
"she is my daughter" i thought to myself. "Raleigh, i used to be the same way. Do you have a key to your moms with you?" i asked.
"Uh.." she dug through her backpack till she pulled a glamor kills lanyard out and flipped through the multiple keys on it. "Yeah i have it."
"Ok, let's go get your stuff, you're moving in with me" I said, not looking at her.
"WHAT?!?!? Wait Dad really?" she sounds excited.
"Yes Leigh I'm serious" i laughed pulling into her mom's drive way. She jumped out of the car running to the house, stumbling to unlock the door.She packed her room in record time, 30 minutes and she was done, everything in trash bags and other bags she had.
"I'm done" she threw the last bag in the trunk.
"Alright, come on let's go home" i got in my car and she got in her car following me
"Her car is a walking death trap Jack" i said into the phone.
"Well, you have a few cars, sell hers and give her one of yours." Jack suggested, he had a point, i mainly drove my BMW so i could give her the land rover.
"Thats a decent idea, are you coming over to help me tonight?" i asked.
"uh.. yeah i have to actually get out of bed don't i? And change?" Jack asked.
"Well, i doubt Leigh will care," i turned the car off getting out, walking inside, Raleigh pulled in a minute later. "Jack i got to go Leigh just pulled in i have to help her, see you when you get here."
"Ok bye" Jack hung up, i tossed my phone on the counter running outside with Raleigh.
