Whose's our dad again?

Three Weeks Later:

Since the night Dad was sick, I've been singing at every concert. Not the entire time of course, but during certain songs i come out and join my dad. I think it's great. Rae finally got out of the hospital, but she's bed bound for at least the next six months, so I Skype her whenever i have a moment, now being one of those rare moments. "Rae, I think it's an amazing idea if you came with us after you got better!" I said eagerly grinning at my little sister.

"I don't know Leigh, what if dad isn't exactly how i pictured him in my mind?" She asked, honestly concerned. I was hiding out in my bunk away from the rest of the men i lived with. Although it wasn't sound proof i at least had a little privacy. "And what if Caroline hates me for wanting to talk to him"

"Rae, it's not her decision if you want to have a relationship with Alex or not. I think he's a great dad. He really wants to get to know all of us Kattie." She scrunched her nose at me calling her Kattie, but i was the only one that she'd let call her that.

"Maybe we can start with Skype calls." She suggested, I nodded. Rae was never one to jump into anything before she was sure she was ready.

"If that's what you want to do, we can do that" I nodded, i heard the bus door open and slam. I held a finger up to Rae as i peaked my head out of my bunk. Jack and my dad were walking towards my bunk with grins on their faces. "What do you two think you're doing?" i called, they looked at me and smiled even bigger. This meant they were up to something.

"Who's there Raleigh?" Rae asked, I picked up my laptop holding it out to the sitting area on the bus so she could see Dad and Jack.

"Who are you skyping?" Jack asked walking over, looking at my screen "Is that Caroline or Rae?"

"Rae" Rae answered, smiling at Jack. Jack and everyone had talked to Rae once or twice, but never for very long.

"How are you feeling today Kiddo?" Dad called for the "kitchen". Rae grinned t the sound of Alex's voice.

"I'm okay, a little pain in my stitches but that's to be expected." She answered, he walked over with a sandwich in his hand. Alex and Rae shared the same goofy smile.

"That's good to hear." Dad looked at me, before walking into the back lounge. Jack followed him and i climbed back into my bed.

"I have to take my medicine and stuff, i should go" She said looking around her room.

"Okay i'll talk to you tomorrow. Same time?"

"Yeah sure, I'll text you before i call" and with that she hung up. I climbed back out of my bunk and walked into the back lounge. I plopped down next to my dad and Jack.

"We have the night off. Guess what that means." jack grinned at me, i smirked back at him. My dad glared at both of us, "Come on Al, you're the one that got her the ID, let her use it."

"She uses it too much. I get worried." He mumbled into his sandwich. I heard my phone ringing in my bunk, so i went to see who it was. I smiled when i saw my best friend Dean calling me.

" Hey there Sunshine" i said when i picked up the phone. Dean sounded like she was crying. "D, why are you crying?"

"Leigh, Joey woke up." Dean said, I promptly fainted.
