Meeting Him
Jacks POV:
Another high school day. Just wasting my time here. I daydreamed while the teacher droned on about whatever when the door opened and this kid enters with the principal. She spoke to the teacher for a few minutes while the class muttered curiosly. "This is Alexander Gaskarth." The teacher said. "Alex" The kid inturrupted shyly. He had light coffee brown straight hair that was hidden with a gray beanie. "Alex" The teacher corrected himself. "He'll be joining us. Jack?" The teacher asked, my head snapping up. "Yes?" "Will you help around the school for a few weeks until he gets used to it?" "Oooh helping the new kid." My "friends" tittered. Blake, the school greatest bully, my fathers best friends kid, my ex and alledgedly my best friend scrawled something on a note and tossed it to me. "The new kid looks like a emo fag. He probably cuts and cries all day. Then again so do you." Haha funny. I tugged my sleeves down, scared anyone would see my scars even though I was wearing a long sleeved shirt while Alex made his way to sit by me. Blake looked at me laughing. The only reason I was stuck pretending to be friends with him and his stupid friends, doing whatever they said was so no one espcially my parents would know about my sexuality and the fact I cut. To my parent being gay is the worst thing ever. I don't want them to think I'm not straight. "Sure whatever and his name is Alex." I wrote back. I don't know why I was protecting him but he looked so weak and frail."In love are we?" Blake asked, smirking. Before I could deny it the bell rang. "Could you help me find room 202 please?" Alex asked. He had a nice, quiet, calming voice with a bit of a English accent. "Yeah sure. It's my next class. I'll walk you." "Thanks". He gave me a small smile and his light brown eyes brightened.
Alex POV:
A new school. A new place. No one here apart from the principal knew about Tom. As I struggled to block the memories I noticed the secretary finnished talking on the phone. "Hi I'm Alex the new student." "Yes" The principal suddenly inturupted. "I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I'll walk you to your next class and introduce you to your teacher." The secretary handed me my new schedule. When we arrived she intruduced me to Jack who was supposed to help me. He had huge eyebrows like mine, beautiful chocolate brown eyes, and skunk blond brown hair. He didn't look happy to help me. He was so busy writing to some kd he didn't even notice me. I sat quietly as the teacher continued to talk monotoneously. When class ended I peaked at my schedule and realised I had no idea how to get to my next class. 'Could you help me find room 202 please?" I asked. I felt like he disliked me. "Yeah sure. It's my next class. I'll walk you."Maybe Jack wasn't so bad and I was just being judgemental. I smiled a bit. As we walked in silence I accidently touched his hand. He flinched, made a small sound and started to walk faster. I remembered Tom doing the same thing. He had so much blood and scars. I noticed Jack was wearing long sleeves when it was fairly warm outside I couldn't let what happened to Tom happen to Jack. "Do you c-cut?" I stuttered. Jack looked at me with panicked eyes. He started to walk faster, practically running. "Fuck" he muttered under his breath. "Wait Jack! I can help you" I said trying to keep up with him. "No you can't. Heres the class now fuck off." He glared at me. I walked in and took a seat as the bell rang. I had to help him, somehow. I will break his walls and he will accept my help.
