RECAP
In the last few stories, starting from the beginning,
Matt met a girl, Hanna, through online college classes when he was a surprise mentor. After meeting her for a quick interview for a school project, she and the boys from the band invite her to dinner, she accepts and brings them to a restauraunt where they all bond and she clicks in like part of the family. She returns to the bus with them after hanging out with them for a while, she gets invited to join them on tour, and bring her schoolwork with them.
She agrees and returns home to ask her mother who is spiteful of the idea, not of care for her daughter but of hate. Hanna gets in an argument with her mother and when all the boys from the band and crew show up in the tour bus at her front door to pick Hanna up, they find her with a bruised face after her mother had hit her and thrown her into a mirror.
The band and crew immediately resolve to bring her with them wether she likes it or not.
Once on tour she begins to play guitar with Alex and he quickly learns she has a talent for singing.
One night Alex starts playing remembering Sunday and beacons Hanna out to sing it with him. She does so reluctantly but once off stage she faints and gets brought to the hospital by a panicd crew member. Her mother gets called and after putting up a fight she gets brought back to her hometown of St Paul, Minnesota.
The boys finish up another tour several months later, just around Hannas eighteenth birthday, as a gift, and because they are looking for a new guitar tech they invite her to join them. Only this time, she gets more romantic with Matt and gets in a serious relationship with him. She follows them to Baltimore and stays with Jack and Alex before returning to the tour life.
After a night of heavy drinking she wakes up in Matt’s bed naked with a broken condom and a sneaking suspicion that she may have ‘a bun in the oven’.
