Stay With Me

I spent all of today with Jack. He picked me up at ten and took me shopping and for lunch. Then he sat me down and spoke about the baby and it was all very adult. He said that he's on a solid income and can help support the baby whatever I decide to do. When I told him I'm seriously considering adoption he looked a little sad. He can't really want a baby though, right? I mean he's away for months at a time. Unless he takes the baby with him on stage. Actually I think Kellin has done that before. But Kellin has Kate. I have no one. Jack actually seems very grown up about it all and I'm not. I just want it over with. But Jack was talking about child rates and income support and custody. I don't know what any of it means.

But we also didn't kiss today. Which is good . . . I think.

Alex and Jack have asked me to go to Rian's party. To Jack I said yes. To Alex I said who the hell am I going to go with. Alex is going with some girl called Lisa he met years ago when he was buying condoms (extra large apparently, although I doubt it). Rian has a girlfriend and Zack has an almost girlfriend. Not forgetting Jack's painfully nice and adult girlfriend. I told Alex all of this and he only replied with I'll sort it. I don't know how, because let's be honest. Who in their right mind would want to spend a party with a pregnant me.

I tried to make myself look good, but it's getting harder and harder due to the clothes situation. I'm wearing black skinny jeans with a low cut red wrap top that makes my boobs look great. If I was a guy and I didn't know I was knocked up I'd do me. I went downstairs and found Alex waiting for me with the condom girl. "You look nice," Alex told me.

"Thanks," I smiled. "Do I look fat?"

"No," he laughed. "Oh, this is Lisa. Lisa this is my friend, Zandra,"

"Hey," Lisa smiled.

"Hi," I said smoothly. "Alex, where's my date?"

"He's taking a piss,"

"Nicely put," I rolled my eyes.

"Hey," someone said and I turned to look at them. A guy was walking towards us. I looked at Alex and back to the guy. He looked familiar.

"Zee, this is Vinny," Mike explained.

"Your merch guy. Are you serious?" I asked then looked at Vinny. "No offence, by the way,"

"None taken," Vinny laughed.

"Shall we get going?" Alex urged. I shrugged and followed them out. I got in Alex's car. Alex and Lisa were at the front and Vinny and I were at the back.

"Did you draw a short straw or something?" I asked him.

"What?"

"You got to take the pregnant chick to the party,"

"Oh, yeah," he laughed. "I don't mind. You're actually kind of attractive,"

"Wow, thanks,"

"And I hear things. I figure it'll be good for someone to see you with someone else,"

"Sorry?" I asked confused.

"Apparently you want to make Jack jealous,"

"I don't!" I exclaimed.

"You sure?" he raised his eyebrow.

"Well," I muttered.

"Just a little?" he offered.

"Nope," I shook my head. He widened his eyes and I sighed. "Maybe a little,"

"That's fine. I don't mind that. But can we make it good because I'm trying to make someone jealous too,"

"Oh who?" I questioned.

"My ex. She's fucking Zack's tech. So I want to get her back by fucking someone hot who isn't showing yet,"

"We won't actually be fucking, will we?" I asked anxiously.

"No, but we can make it look like it,"

"Fine, but no heavy kissing,"

"What do you mean by heavy?"

"That if you put your tongue in my mouth I'll bite it off,"

"Got you," Vinny nodded.

We pulled up and I opened my door. I walked around the car and towards Rian's house. Alex knocked the door and after a minute Rian answered us. He beamed when he saw us and stood back to let us in. As I passed he handed me a heart shaped lolly pop. "Thanks," I laughed.

"It's so cool to see you," Rian told me.

"You too," I smiled.

"Do you want a drink?" Vinny asked me.

"Just a cola," I replied. He went of to get my drink and I found myself standing alone. I spotted Jack talking to some guys I didn't know at the edge of the living room. He looked up and saw me, then smiled. But then Vinny came behind me and he frowned. I took my drink and Vinny followed my eyes.

"Found him?" he asked and I nodded. "My ex is just by the sound system,"

"You know, I don't think this is a good idea," I thought.

"Please, Zandra," he begged. I rolled my eyes and took his hand.

"Let's go dance," I said. Vinny led me over to the middle of the floor where people were dancing. He spun me around so I was standing in front of him, facing away. I felt his hands go to my hips and I stepped back so I was closer to him. I saw Jack watching us and he was muttering to Zack who had suddenly appeared. I saw Jack's eyes pass over me before Zack nudged him roughly in the arm. Jack shook his head and looked up again. "Kiss me," I rushed.

"What?" Vinny asked.

"He's watching. Kiss me," I ordered. Vinny spun me around so we were facing one another. He pressed his lips roughly to mine. When he pulled away I stood back in shock. Vinny's ex was standing behind him.
"Hi," Vinny said smoothly.

"Can we talk, Vin?" she asked.

"Sure," he nodded. Vinny let go of me and walked away with her. I turned around and gasped.

"Christ!" I exclaimed.

"Sorry," Jack smiled. He was standing smiling at me looking all tanned and hot in his skinny jeans. When did I start to think that about him? He's not that hot. "Thought I'd get a dance before Vinny comes back," he explained.

"Sure," I smiled. Jack stepped close to me and put his hands on my waist. I put my hands on his shoulders and got a little closer. "Where's your girlfriend tonight?" I asked as she started to move with the music.

"She's out of town this weekend," he explained. I nodded and looked down. "So, you and Vinny?"

"Me and Vinny," I muttered.

"Is he on that?" Jack asked and I raised an eyebrow. "Does he know what you're all about?"

"If you think that,"

"Be careful," he warned. "You could get pregnant," I looked up and him and laughed. Jack started to laugh at my laugh and I rested my head on his chest. Jack stopped laughing and I looked up. I took one of my hands and brought it to his cheek. Then I reached up to kiss his lips urgently. Jack started to kiss me back passionately. We eventually pulled away and I looked down embarrassed. Jack put his finger under my chin and lifted my head up. I looked at him in the eye and frowned.

"I'm so sorry, Jack," I gasped.

"Don't be," he said quietly. Then his lips crashed back down onto mine again.
