"Daddy, I'm tired," Adison yawns and rests her head on my shoulder. We were in the elevator going up to my condo. Matt wanted us to stay at practice then usual, which meant Adison had to stick around. There was a few times Bryan or Soupy would run out to go get Adison while we were practicing. "We're almost home Adison." I was tired as well. We get to my condo and walk inside, locking the door behind me. Its amazing how much Adison trusts me, even though she's never met, she knew who I was before we met. I look around, I couldn't have her sleep on my couch. My dogs love to jump on my couch at night to sleep there instead of their own dog beds. I go in my bedroom, Adison was already asleep in my arms. I go over to my bed and lay her down, she was so cute and peaceful. I go in my bathroom and quickly wash up before changing in a white t-shirt and gym shorts. My usual was boxers, but I didn't want to sleep in just my boxers with Adison sleeping by me.

I slowly get in bed and pull the covers over me and Adison. I lay there and stare at Adison, she looked so much like Ally but she had my eyes and outgoing behavior. Her smile was just like Ally's, everything about her reflected the two of us in her. I kiss Adison's head and I close my eyes, I never thought that one day I would be a father. I turn off the lights and go to sleep.

"Mommy!!," I hear Adison cry. I quickly sit up and hover over her, Adison was crying in her sleep and moving around. "Adison. Adison wake up." "I want mommy!!," she cries in her sleep. I didn't know what to do, Adison was having a nightmare. I gently hold her in my arms, "wake up Adi. Its daddy. Daddy's here. Daddy's going to protect you," I spoke softly in her ear and she soon woke up crying. She looks up at me, tears streaming down her face. "Daddy," she whimpered and hugged me tightly. I hold her close and kiss her head. "It's okay Adi. I'm here. I won't leave you. It was just a dream." "I miss mommy, daddy," she mumbles. I sit there and let her cry as I held her. I slowly rubbed her back and would kiss her head once in a while. "I know. I miss her too."

I wake up to Adison jumping on the bed, "daddy wake up!" I slowly open my eyes and she plops down by me and smiles at me. I smile back, "your a early bird." "I'm hungry daddy." "What do you want to eat?" "I want eggs and fruit. My favorite is strawburries." It was so cute how she said strawberries. "I can make that for you, does mommy make you healthy food?" She nods fast, "healthy makes a happy tummy as mommy says." "That is true." I get out of bed and she follows me out, my dogs running up to us, "Olivia! Down!" Adison giggles as Olivia licks her face, I was worried that Olivia would bite since she was teething. But Olivia and the rest of my dogs seem to love her. I go in my kitchen and pull out the eggs and strawberries. "How do you like your eggs Adi?" "Sunny!" "Sunny it is," I smile to myself. I make us breakfast and help Adison in a seat at the table. I put her plate down and she happily eats. Today I had a lot of things planned, I was going to take her to Rooms To Go for Kids so she can pick out some stuff for her room, my office is going to be her room. Then I was going to the store to get food that would accommodate with her nut allergy.

I guess this is what parenthood is like. Turning your whole life around for your child. Even though I just met her yesterday, I feel like I have a part of me with me.
